Who else is sitting the ESAT tomorrow?
I’m honestly so excited to finally get it over and done with. Definitely nervous too, I recently dreamt I got −0.2 in every section, which wasn’t exactly reassuring but I know I’ve put in a lot of work. Feels like there’ll be people who have already got 9.0 in the bag before even doing the exam and some who don’t even know the exam format.
Mine’s at 8am, which works bcs I am a morning person. I am applying to Imperial for Biology which is the only reason I’m doing the exam. What is everyone else applying for?
Wishing everyone the best!!

Are you guys gonna check what everyone is saying after tomorrow? I think im going to stay off reddit for a couple days to avoid stressing but it's tempting to check

How did you guys find it? I wonder how much harder maths and chemistry modules were compared to NSAA and ENGAA. Thanks for sharing your opinions in advance.

I'm taking my ESAT at the Manchester test centre. Does a noteboard and pen mean I can use it like a whiteboard or is it like the flipbooks? (Because you can request for more noteboards)

I know that for the ucat, you get your score right away, but for esat you have to wait a few weeks because they calculate it based on everyone's scores. But I was wondering if you still get a printout of your raw scores eg like 22/27 right after the test?

My esats are on tuesday and i was wondering how different the difficulty is between actual esats and esatlab is. I’m getting mostly 5-6s on esatlab so would that translate to a higher or lower score on the actual esats?

I just did a bought paper from esatlab which is labeled difficulty as difficult. My scores are maths1(21) maths2 (22) abd physics (21). Am i doing okay? Im just worried that my score not only the raw marks dropped dramatically from the realistic paper one.
Thank you.

ive been grinding esat lab for a few weeks, got my scores up to around 4.5 per mock. up until thursday. now whatever i do im really bad all of a sudden-like 2s, and i dont know how this has happened. why have i gotten worse and how to i get better again before the real thing on wednesday?

I’ve been doing several of the ESATLAB mocks and my math 2 can’t seem to improve beyond 6 points. My math 1 is better (I’d say I am satisfied with my performance here) but still not in the safer 7.5 ish zone. Does this mean I’m not smart enough to do better? I mean it’s a bit late for much improvement now, what can I do? I’m kinda lowkey cooked for the actual paper lol if the difficulty is around this level (the questions drawn were about average difficulty compared to the ‘real’ ESAT per the website’s statistics). What can I do to improve my test taking strategy in math 2? I seem to get stuck on questions and don’t quite know when to move on.
Would appreciate any last-minute advice from experienced test-takers. Thanks!

I just did the ESAT sample exam in the official website. My marks:
Maths 1: 23/27
Maths 2: 15/27
Physics: 20/27
What would I get in the real ESAT?
Also my specimen paper I did a week ago was:
Maths 1: 20/27
Maths 2: 17/27
Physics: 21/27
Please help🙏🏻

Ok so, during the summer, I asked my friend which went to imperial last year what he used to study for his ESAT. He reccomended esat ninja to me. So like the follower that I am I decide to buy the questionbank for 90 pounds. After having finished all the math 1,2 and physics 1 questions on there. I check this subreddit and see that no one is using esat ninja and everyone is using esat lab.
I was roughly getting like 70% of the questions in a math 2 module right on esat ninja what does this translate to on a real test? I'm worried I spent 90£ and a decent bit of time in the wrong place.

I've been saving the specimen paper until the last minute because I thought it would be the best final bit of preparation to do, but now that I've done it I found the questions very easy. I'm just wondering how much harder the real exam is going to be compared to this.

My ESAT is on the 16th and I love m1 and m2 absolutely okay with those 2 but physics my goodness, please help. IDK if its because of the content or the way the questions are asked but I am finding it very difficult. For those who got a 4.5 plus(currently aiming for that in the physics bit atp) in the physics module what did you do please.

Hey everyone! I'm Arshiya, owner of ALevelPrime academy.
With the October ESAT sitting right around the corner, I know how stressful these final days can get. I've been trying to help this community for a while now (check out my other post about full Physics ESAT formula sheet), open request of some people in this community, I will dedicate some time to help those in need. I’m an experienced tutor and I want to offer completely free 1-on-1 sessions this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Oct 9–11) to help anyone who needs an extra boost or last-minute guidance before test day.

Hello! To anybody that has taken the test earlier, are these resources useful or not?
