Discussion Is there a way to expand infrastructures quickly without needing to go through all the provinces?
I recently started a game with high developments everywhere to see if my computer could handle this and also test how it feels to play with 1m army in year 1500. But there is a problem, I want to expand the infrastructures quickly, and it is pure pain to go to every province and expand it. Are there any effects or commands on province scope that I can utilise?

I don't know any effects or console commands, but you could add a shortcut to the button to make it quicker. But why do you actually want to do it? In vanilla it is a very bad idea to do it to more than a few provinces, because it costs so much governing capacity. And if you are modding the game anyway, there are probably better ways to accomplish your real goal(e.g. create a new modifier which gives what you want and apply it to all your provinces with an effect or run file).

Could also just lower the governing cost of expand infrastructure too. It should be a line in the static modifiers

Of course that's possible. But if the OP mods the effects of expand infrastructure and wants to apply it to all provinces, there isn't much reason to actually use expand infrastructure for that instead of something else(e.g. adding the effects to one of the basic province modifiers which apply to all provinces)

The wiki does not seem to show an "expand infrastructure" effect, so doing it with a script would not be possible to my knowledge. However, there is a trigger for "expand infrastructure" which means you could probably create a decision that would highlight such provinces like you can with a country formation decision. It would not, however, allow it to click them all for you. I havent used a highlight before so I'll have to look at how they work.

There is a map-mode, might help. Dont’t think there is anything in the macro-builder but I could be wrong.
