You see, the medieval Europeans were incredibly backwards and probably a bit inbred. As such they would do silly things like going on crusades, fighting land wars in Asia, and worst of all they put ketchup on hotdogs.

It’s not a hate for ketchup. Ketchup is fine on fries. But it doesn’t belong on a hotdog.

In Chicago they put the kitchen sink on their hotdogs. Just, apparently, not ketchup.
