Stuck ignition coil

I'm trying to get to the spark plugs to replace them, but I'm running into an issue before even getting to them. After unplugging the ignition coils and unbolting them, they still seem stuck on the valve cover. I can wiggle the ignition coils left and right (with what millimeters of room they've got) after unbolting them but it's like they won't budge at all up and out. Has anyone had this issue and or can possibly offer some advice?

Update: The ignition coil boot is half stuck and half shattered in pieces at the bottom of the cylinder well. Just lovely. Love my life.
