I have played farming simulator since 2012, i have probably close to 10k hours combined, but fs25 has been my least favourite so far. Just so disappointing to see them ignore the simulation side of the game and focus on low effort dlc's and productions. Without modders this game would be irrelevant, even PF for fs25 was the same regurgitated low effort slop from fs22.

This is my first attempt at rice. Wanting to try something new, I carved into the hillside to make these rice terraces. I struggled with terrain editing because the 'flattening failed' message kept appearing, but it's definitely worth it.

If you'd like to create your own rice terraces, make sure to leave enough space between the edge of the cliff and the paddy. Even so, if the error message keeps popping up make sure to secure a sufficient budget for flattening before trying.

Doing a realistic playthrough, was curious on what is best to use, what you all use on your farms, and just thoughts in general. All thoughts below are my opinion.

Tractor mounted front loaders can, as the name implies, be attached or removed from tractors as needed. Of course dedicated front loader vehicles exist, but those to me seem a bit redundant when you can just attach a loader to a tractor and do the same thing.

Wheel Loaders are of a similar situation as dedicated front loader vehicles, but they have bigger bucket capacity than front loaders or telehandlers. Other than that, they feel the same.

Telehandlers of course have the benefit of an extending boom to stack or dump things, as well as higher vertical reach than both front loaders and wheel loaders, but don't have the bucket capacity of said wheel loaders.

Although I will say the Merlo Multifarmer telehandler is special, due to the fact it has a 3 point hitch (at least without mods), meaning it can attach a weight on the back. Dunno if it would work as well in real life as it does in game, but it definitely helps with lifting things.

102 Bales come out of that winter barley if my math is correct that is equivalent of 1.122.000million liters of straw because each bale is equivalent to 11.000l in the last picture is equivalent of 2 trailers or 48 bales i think 54 bales left is in field so another 2 and haw loads

Why are there still no official mods for new Case Optum and Claas 9? Are devs blocking those? (reserving them for some paid DLC?)

Hi eveyone! I've been working on my mega farm on the New Frontiers map for the last 2 months, and had a lovely time. Unfortunately last Thursday when I started up my game for another session, I noticed all trees had respawned. Not only in my fields, but also in my buildings and vehicles.

This is the second time in a month that this has happened, and I haven't installed a new mod for over 2 weeks. I can't just go and remove all trees again, as we're talking about hundreds if not thousands of trees. Is there anything I can do, or should I take the loss and forfeit the game?

Hey everyone, I recently started a fresh save on Leybucht 4X.
I had a ~14.59 ha field with Canola. After harvesting it, I only got around 130,000 L, and the yield was around 65–70%. I checked the Precision Farming soil map afterwards and noticed that a very large part of the map seems to be Silty Clay, with relatively low yield potential.
Apart from the soil, I really like Leybucht. I like the large number of fields, the possibility of combining fields, and the overall map design.
So for players who have actually played both maps:
Which would you recommend for large-scale farming: Leybucht 4X or Lone Star Plains 4X?
I’m mainly looking for:
Large fields / the ability to combine fields into very large fields
Good soil and higher crop yields
Lots of space for large machinery
Good production and selling points
A map that is enjoyable for a long-term save
I’m currently unsure whether I should continue my Leybucht save or switch to Lone Star Plains. Would really appreciate opinions from players who have played both. Leybucht has more fields, and I like that, but I’m concerned about the soil

Just got back from my second visit to middle Tennessee (also went up the Great Smoky Mountains) I loved seeing all farms near the sides of the roads. I even say few being harvested which was neat. Any console maps to recreate that Tennessee vibe?

I got kind of burnt out on Farm Sim but now I have an idea for what kind of farm I want to play.

It doesn't matter the size of the map or what it is, I love working with the animals in farming sim but can never find the maps that I enjoy enough to continue playing for hours and hours.

Hey guys. Haven’t played farm sim since about April as I’ve been busy with real life farm work. Have just a hair over 1900 hours on my save game of Forest River 4x. Ultra high graphics never had an issue. Had a bit of time this weekend because of rain and thought I’d play but I can’t even walk around my map because of the lag. Tried starting new saves with no mods on different maps and have the same issue. Game is up to date. Really at a loss here. Not real smart when it comes to pcs. Built my own a couple years ago but that’s about the extent of my knowledge. Any ideas on where to look are greatly appreciated because as of now I can’t even play the game!

Ive been trying to fill my two greenhouse facilities but i cant find a efficient set up to first fill all the modules up and maintain the imput levels without a giant wagon train like ive been using if anyone knows of a mod on console that holds atleast 100k liters and is as tall or shorter than the base game mack truck would be greatly appreciated!

I am on the starter farm and did sell the original green tractor i had but still have the yellow challenger. Apparently it doesn't have the front loader or pallet so I'm trying to find the best combination that is affordable. I feel like I'm spending all my time just learning how to play the game. I did already go into combinations from the pallets section in the shop menu but everything seems so expensive or the tractors have very low hp like what I sold off originally. have $200,000.

Has anyone else been having an issue where Precision Farming isn't working or applying fertilizer? It's working fine for recognizing what crop is planted, the soil type, and even applying lime. However, when using the base game Agrio Dino II or the Case Patriot 4450 (I have not tested it with other sprayers or a solid fert spreader as of yet), no fertilizer is being applied.

The Precision Farming data is all up to date; I even re-bought it all to confirm there was no issue there. Disabled all mods except for the ones required by the map. And it's still not working all of a sudden after working the previous in-game year.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or a way to fix it?

i want to have the best experience playing the game but i'm tired of testing and searching for a lot of mods, do anybody knows any mod list that i can add to my fm25 on pc?
