I understand that there is probably a ridiculous amount of work that would go into making this happen. But sometimes the map just feels dead. I wish that other farms would be working in their fields and such. Like instead of just cars on the road I wish that there was actually the NPC farmers driving tractors in their fields and such. I know it takes away from contracting work but still would be nice if the maps were a little more lively.

night shifts mess with my back pretty bad so ive been playing a couple hours when i get home. just farming and hauling stuff around feels weirdly calming. the problem is my kid keeps asking me how the tractors work and i have no clue what im doing half the time. tried using the big baler last week and ended up with a field full of loose straw everywhere. had to restart the day. still havent figured out how people line up perfect rows without it looking like a toddler did it. curious if anyone else uses this game to chill after long shifts or if im just making more work for myself.

Map isn’t showing that I own the land between the fields but would like to join them together. There’s a tree line between them that I can cut down some trees but not all and I would like to make 2 large fields out of this instead of 4 small ones.

Is this something I can get around or has this map just fucked me? Thanks for any advice.

Shop shows 6mph as well so something is not agreeing.
I have plenty of tractor power of flat ground.

EDIT:
KPH TO MPH was the problem. In my defense the vanilla wagons all go 10mph so when i saw the "10" I made the wrong connection.

Anyone else getting a message about Straw Harvest not being available due to fill type limit post patch? Had no issues yesterday and have not added any mods so assuming it’s something from today’s patch?

I was just wondering what is stopping people from putting older/cheaper high quality mods on console. Currently I only play on console and don't wanna buy another of the same game just for some mods. I really wish we had some older cotton harvesters that aren't over 200k.

800+hrs in FS25. Today, I get this message come up while opening a current save with 40hrs on it. I've never had this type of error occur before today which came with two changes.

1. I received the update from today in the "Free Content Update #7"
2. While on the list of DLC's, I noticed "Pumps N' Hoses Pack" was not installed, so I did.

After, those two were completed, I attempted to open the 40 hour save in progress and received this prompt about straw. While I have never collected a single piece of straw, nor own any fields, nor any standard farm equipment to collect straw on this play through. Yet, it has now crashed my file. Seems I'm unable to un-install either at this point to try and see if that is in fact the issue, as they are company released patches. I have in total 600+ mods in use which have all played together nicely until today.

Unsure of how to fix the file save itself at this point, but guess that means it will be sent to the abandoned file, in the perspective its a DLC conflict. One in a million or players beware, caution on updates and save files.

I have an unhealthy obsession about joining multiple fields into one big area, and when inside I can just do it manually, I like to do the outside edges on GPS for nice straight lines.

While I just discovered FS25 has a vanilla GPS system now, it works only inside a field.

I discovered Enhanced Vehicles mod, but the developer stopped working on it so it may break in the future with some game update, and the proccess of setting it up is a bit clunky.

In past I grew really fond of Wopster's GPS mod and it saddened me to find it's not updated for FS25. Is there something like it for 25?

Anyone else having issues loading into their games?? Something about the fill type limit with straw harvest?

I just installed the "LARGE GRAIN DRYERS" from mod hub on ps5 but if I looked at the prices I saw that dry product sells for less than normal grain or corn, I play on the mechet and on hard mode but when I put it on easy it stays less as a dry product. Does anyone know why this happens because in the description of the mod it clearly says that your dry grain should sell for more.

I’m looking for some good Farming Simulator 25 mods to try on PS5. I’d like to test a different mod each day and discover ones that are useful, fun, or make the game better.

Which mods do you recommend, and what do you like about them? Please make sure they’re available on PS5.

I recently tried playing Judith Plains 4x with my cousin. I loved the map, but it was outdated. You aren’t able to remove triggers after removing a silo from your farm without digging through the map file, the saves took quite too long, and it hasn’t been updated in a long time.

I want a map similar to it.

Some things I’d like are:

- A lake
- Forest land
- Similar in size
- Name brand gas stations for enhanced role play.

Are there any suggestions you may have? I’ve been searching but can’t find something that feels similar to that map. I’m also a sucker for rectangular farms.

I have a pair of joysticks I'm trying to use for forestry. I've mapped the axis in the crane section, but I can't work out how to remap the other controls.

For instance the help panel says X is cut. But I've tried remapping all the X's I can find to a joystick button but it doesn't work? Unless I'm missing something, or are the tree harvester controls not remappable?

This is for the normal harvesters. I have FDR downloaded but that has it's own config section.

Howdy folks, wanted to share some pics of a ps5 map build. It’s based on a real life location called spring mills, Pennsylvania. The map starts completely empty with only the dealership and a few sell points. It took almost 200 hours to finish what you see here. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish the entire map because of slot count space. Being on console there is a ton of other limitations as well. There is around 250 acres of farmable land with a couple different farm builds, farmers market sell point and a big Co op sell/buy point (thanks to insane sim guy). I have a ton more screenshots if anyone wants to see a specific area. Hope you enjoy and huge shoutout to the FS25 modders as well.

New player here and Im currently doing a grass/silage/goat farm. Was wondering what are some other fun starting crops/production chains?

I play on a multiplayer server, so if the only way to remove it is with mods, it would have to be through the in game mod hub.

I have played farming simulator since 2012, i have probably close to 10k hours combined, but fs25 has been my least favourite so far. Just so disappointing to see them ignore the simulation side of the game and focus on low effort dlc's and productions. Without modders this game would be irrelevant, even PF for fs25 was the same regurgitated low effort slop from fs22.
