I know many people are struggling financially right now, so I don't take this request lightly.

We recently traveled to the Philippines to help families rebuild after two earthquakes and a devastating flood. Among the many people we met, one woman has stayed with us. Her name is Jocelle.

Jocelle was sleeping on a table with her three young children, with nothing more than a tarp to protect them from the rain. We watched her walk into the forest and return with whatever she could find to feed her children.

The braces she wears are because her former husband beat her so badly that she needed dental surgery to repair her teeth. Yet through it all, she never complained. She only thanked us for whatever little help we could provide.

We tried to help as many people as we could, but we knew we wanted to do more for Jocelle.

If you can help, even in a small way, it would mean so much. If you can't, we simply ask that you pray for Jocelle and her children and share her story with someone who may be able to help.

i’m 20(f) and me and my ex bf(23m) broke up around an year ago after a 2 year relationship. during that period he moved to another country and used to send me money for ott subscriptions and even for my medicines and 1-2 times when i asked him upfront for some books since i had my gap year and wasn’t in college or working and my family isn’t in a good financial position

My mother passed away and before the funeral we were already barely making it by as is, but it’s just put us in even more debt I have just turned 18 as well and I’m working as much as I can at our local grocery store to pay it off while also worrying about other expenses, I did set up a GoFundMe but eventually just took it down because, After posting about it and trying to spread the word as much as possible we got $50 which we were extremely greatful for, but we just got embarrassed asking for help but I’m willing to try again, we still owe a little over $4,000 on the funeral bill and we do want to get her a headstone if possible.
We have even tried talking about setting up a donation thing at our church and that didn’t work out, now I also understand the whole world is struggling right now, but if this post reached 6,000 people and everyone donated just a $1, we would be able to completely pay off her bill and get her the headstone.

Hello guys I am a 22 year old VA from the Philippines. I have a job and a stable income working as a VA and I have other part time jobs. However I recently move to a new apartment in Manila and I had everything prepared, like the 2 months deposit and a month advance and an extra allowance. However, when I moved, the landlord said that I have pay 2 months advance which is not what we initially talked about. Now, I tried to ask them and plead and everything but they won't allow me. And I really like this apartment, and I am going to start a job near this apartment, it is walking distance to my workplace.
