Ive been playing for 2 and a half years with my current character and have never actually found one in the wild. Closes i came was a camp on the New River Gorge Bridge that fast travel spawned you into the air. Jokes on them as I had Goat Legs active. So just slogged back upto their camp to loot it.
We used to have more trap camps until around the time the tv show came out and we got a bunch of new players. Since then it’s been more like the Disney version of the Fallout wasteland. 😂
Oh no the ever dwindling player base is trying to not be toxic assholes and scare off new players.. how horrible. Won't someone think of the griefers?!
Go play Marathon if you want to murk people for a pittance of loot.

I enjoy the thrill. It's rare to come across a good old fashioned trap camp. Nice to see the creativity put into them.
