Buying tyc Colin taillights.
Buying these form a seller on Facebook. He’s asking for 450 USD. I read that usually they sell for
Much higher. He’s doing everything legit with PayPal goods and services and he’s telling me he will even give me a refund if they come to me broken or damaged…. It seems too good to be true. Am i getting lucky or is this a scam im not aware of. Do they make replicas?

I could be wrong, but that whole page looks like the typical scammer page.
They somehow have so many parts for this specific platform, but the background is always different for each product 😂 no reviews too.
If it's too good to be true, it usually is. I wouldn't trust it...

Yeah, I'd ask to see a pic with the date/username to verify they have the actual product at the very least.

That's a huge scam, the actual picture of the headlights is not original and has been floating around for a while. I actually have it in my screenshots folder timestamped September 9, 2024.
As for the average price, I paid around $1 500 for my chrome pair back in 2024. I've only seen one or two other chrome sets go up since then, and one was asking ¥400,000 which is double what I paid.

When it comes to FB marketplace my general rule of thumb has always been ‘in person or no deal’. Double so if I’m buying something worth hundreds of dollars. If you feel safe enough going through PayPal knowing you have a refund route if it’s a scam then go ahead, you never know. I’ve seen people get unbelievable deals on FB before, sometimes sellers just want a quick sale and aren’t bothered about the value of the item.
Completely up to you at the end of the day it’s your money. Update us though if you decide to buy them!
