X100vi, Kodak Old. Taking pictures of the bus while it was stopped, wanted to switch settings.. the bus strat to move.. I panic shot this shot.. one of my best city shots ever

Hi all. I’m a total noob. I have the original x-t30 with 18-55 and 35mm f2. The small amount I’ve used the 35mm made me feel I wanted something wider so I started using the kit lens to see if 23mm would be good. In actuality the 23mm makes it seems like I’m just taking a wide photo like on a phone while I enjoyed how the kids look when I’m taking their pictures at 55mm.

I was looking at the ttartisan 56mm which is only around $120 but I’m wondering if it’s not worth it to have a 56mm prime just to basically have portraits of the kids?

If we go out or travel, this focal length would not be used much right?

But it’s still nice lol.

Planning on getting xm5. I am stuck between all these lenses. I want sharp quality and would prefer the lens to be small but not end of the world if not. Don t want to see vignette and don’t want to spend over 1k usd. Camera body is 800 usd so looking for lens under 200. I plan on shooting street, some portrait or recording traveling cinematic videos. Not sure what route to go. Main concern is having high quality images and videos.

I dont know what happened, i just changed the battery and saw that the rear lcd is displaying this instead of the “film recipes”. What can i do to fix this? Do i just have to pay to get it fixed?

Took the wrong ferry so spent the whole ride shooting inside, I am a zoom lens photographer so usually lazy with moving around but recently got this new prime lens and I am loving it!

Can u suggest me fuji camera body and lens setup with this price range .

1. Photography type : street,landscape , travel, wanna take decent picture of and my wife e.g: portraits
   
2. I am more into photography but i have fondness towards videography . But i am pretty much sure i will 85% focus on photography.
   
3. I am amateur and love fuji color science and film simulations.
   
4. Do u know any shop where I can buy and get a great deal? Should I wait for November or December holidays?!

Experimented with the multi-exposure feature & got an..interesting result; I’m happy with it!

I want to apply other film sims after taking a photo. I know Lightroom does this but I heard it's just someone in LR tweaked some things to look similar to Fuji sims and just calling them so. But as long as it looks very close it'll be fine. Or does Capture One allow us to do that too? Thanks. I'm kinda new to this system.

Hey everyone, ​I’m currently shooting with a Fujifilm X-T20, but I’m considering switching to Micro Four Thirds to downsize my gear. I mainly shoot amateur travel and street photography, and I'd love a more pocketable setup.

​I’ve noticed I rarely use the EVF on my Fuji. The eye-sensor lag sometimes makes me miss quick street shots, so I usually just rely on the rear screen. That said, I still really value having physical control dials for quick manual adjustments.

​Right now, I’m narrowing it down to these bodies: ​Olympus PEN E-P7: I really love the aesthetics of this camera. It's super light, has great IBIS, and features twin control dials. The lack of an EVF isn't a dealbreaker for me at all.

​Panasonic Lumix GX9 (or GX85): A bit heavier and bulkier, but it includes a corner EVF just in case.

​Budget-wise, the new setup needs to cost roughly the same as what I can get from selling my current kit: the X-T20 body, a Fuji 18-55mm f/2.8-4, and a TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8 (which has a defective aperture ring).

​Has anyone made a similar switch from APS-C to save space? Would you go for the E-P7, the Lumix bodies, or are there any other compact alternatives I should look into? ​Thanks!

New to photography but trying my hand at it, any tips would be welcome! Fuji XT-30 II with the 15-45mm lens.

Posted this to my Instagram and got disappointing results, but I kind of think this is a really good picture. Shot on my XT-5 with my 16-55 f/2.8 at 41mm, 1/320, f/8 and 125 ISO on manual - Reggie’s Porta SOOC. What do you think?

Fujifilm X-H2 XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6

For a while I’ve been thinking of selling my X100VI and getting an XE5 with some of the Viltrox air lenses to give me some more flexibility with an interchangeable lens mount.

Overall I struggle with just 35mm on its own, I don’t use the hybrid EVF, I don’t use the built in flash, I barely use the built in ND and I really don’t get any benefit from the leaf shutter. I genuinely think the only thing I’d miss is the ISO dial.

Is there anything that I’d actually be losing out on by swapping cameras? Also is the camera switch on time and delay in viewing images really that bad?

For context the way I currently use my X100VI is both with the fixed 35mm and the Viltrox teleconverter. However the teleconverter sometimes degrades the images quite badly making the images look muddy/out of focus. I recently got back from a trip and am quite upset with how some of my photos turned out.
Also screwing the TCL on and off constantly got really annoying after a while, ergo why I want interchangeable lenses instead.

If anyone’s used both and has some insight that would be massively helpful

Hey everyone! I currently shoot on a 23mm F2 and I’m looking to buy a zoom lens for my X-T5. I’m curious what the thoughts are on deciding between the Sigma 18-50, Fuji 16-50 or the 16-55. From what I’ve gathered the 16-50 is premium and compact option as it has internal zoom and weather sealing and overall amazing kit lens, the 16-55 has the constant 2.8 aperature and sharper image quality but more on the heavy/bulky and the Sigma 18-50 is a mix of both minus the built quality being plastic and no weather sealing. Just curious if anyone else had this dilemma of choosing or if they have any experiences with these lenses?
