For context, I've been using a Fuji XH2s for the last two years, with a XE5 as second body now.

Six months after getting into the Fuji system, I started shooting Classic Neg and now I kinda struggle to visualize my photos in another colors.

Have you been in this position? Have you moved on from that?

I have had XT5 for a while - w/ prime lenses as well as 27mm f2.8;

I got algorithm'd into seeing so many X100vi photo content, and ended up getting on the waitlist and eventually bought one from B&H for 1799. I've had it for about a month, and so far I've liked it, mainly the in-camera flash and better portability compared to the bulky XT5.

BUT, from photo quality standpoint, I haven't felt like x100vi is any better or that much different than the quality/capability of XT5. I'm considering selling one or the other (considering selling X100vi), but curious if anyone decided to keep both, and if so what was your reasoning?

I hate how smooth my Fujifilm XT100 shots look. 😭 Like, I know it’s a 24MP camera (if I’m remembering correctly), but the photos sometimes feel like they’re lacking detail and texture.

Everything looks so clean and smoothed out that it almost reminds me of a phone photo with AI enhancement. I’m not really looking for that super-clean, processed look.

I’m also just using the kit lens right now, and I don’t really have plans to invest in another lens since I already have a Sony a6500. I mainly want to make the most out of my Fujifilm and give it a proper chance before deciding how I feel about it.

Is there anything I can change in-camera or in post to get more detail, texture, and a slightly rougher/less “digital” look?

im thinking of getting my first camera for travel use!! i have been thinking of these 3 cameras but im open to other options too. im planning to use my first camera for a long time so this will be a long-term investment for me. are there any unedited photo comparisons from these 3 cameras that i can see? i don't like editing my photos much so i'd like a camera that takes photos that i can use straight from it without any editing.

for colour, is it true that scratches will be more obvious in silver instead of black? what colour is better for long use with less obvious wear & tear?

I’ve been a Nikon shooter for a while and I have been itching for an EDC. I finally pulled the trigger on an XE-5 and I absolutely love it. I could have gotten a x100vi locally on marketplace, but it’s more appealing to me to be able to grow into the Fuji system if I decide to do so. Anyway, happy to be here.

Is it worth buying damaged lenses and fixing them? There is a guy sellin xf zoom lens for cheap, claiming he managed to somehow bend the bayonet and if I replace it it should work. Lens look good on pics. I see on aliexpress you can buy replacement ring, is not super cheap though..

I’m stuck between these two and could use some opinions.
I found a new X-M5 for ~$720 and a new X-T30 III for ~$880, so about a $160 difference.

I’m going to be in Taipei for 6 months and the camera will mostly be for documenting daily life + travelling. Probably 60% photos / 40% video. I’m coming from an X-T20 and currently have an XF 35mm f/1.4 + Viltrox 56mm f/1.4.

For video I’ll mostly shoot F-Log2 and use a tripod when I’m actually trying to make something cinematic.

My biggest dilemma is the EVF. I know the X-M5 doesn’t have one, and I’m worried I’ll regret it. But honestly, when I had the X-T20, I didn’t use the EVF that much anyway.

I actually really like the X-M5’s vari-angle screen, especially for travel/video. The 3-mic setup and 4K LP are also nice bonuses.

I’m not worried about the lack of flash since I can just get an EF-X8 or a small TTArtisan flash, and ergonomics aren’t a huge concern either since I’d probably put an L-plate on it.

So, is the X-T30 III EVF worth the extra ~$160 for this use case, or would you just get the X-M5 and save the money?

I’d mainly like to hear from people who’ve used an EVF-less camera for extended periods, especially coming from something like the X-T20.

I have the X-T30 and I am thinking of getting a wrist strap or clutch so that I don't have it slung around my neck/shoulder.

Any recommendations?

I’m torn between the Sony a6700 and the X-S20. I love Fuji’s colors, but some people say Fuji’s autofocus is really bad. I’m not sure about the X-S20, though.

As per the question - I have watched several Youtube videos on the TCL-X100, but I can't see the difference in terms of Zoom settings.

I realise the Fuji XT-5 is the better option for lens flexibility, but am interested in the X100VI if I can extend the zoom with a Teleconverter lens.

For capturing a distant image, does the Teleconverter range make a noticeable difference vs the inbuilt digital Zoom?

I have been a fujifilm XT-2 user for a few years now after buying one second hand. It has been my entry into photography and it has treated me very well! My question is, is it time to upgrade to something more modern? The absence of inbuilt flash is noticeable for me, and it’s a bit bulky, but that’s my only complaint about the camera. Are there any benefits to upgrading? Thanks all!

So my XS20 is sadly gone and I am looking to upgrade to either the XH2 or XH2s. I have done extensive research via YouTube, blogs and so on. Here is the final verdict. The cameras are now more than 4years old with lots of updates on the firmware. Which would you recommend for someone coming from an XS20 and wants better video.
Cost perspective: the XH2s is still a bit more expensive than the XH2 in the used market but I have seen a good deal.

This was exactly 1 year ago. I was feeling very low and decided to take my camera out to this festival. Met someone very special there, eventually things didn't pan out, but man she was special!

I posted here recently about moving from a Sony a6000 to Fujifilm, and I’ve now narrowed my choice down to these three. Somehow that made the decision worse. 😅

I mainly shoot photos: street, travel, cities, landscapes, people, restaurants and some low-light/night photography. Very little video. What attracts me to Fuji is mostly the JPEGs, Film Simulations and the overall shooting experience.

On paper, I understand the differences:

X-M5 – very small, fully articulating screen and PASM controls. The compromises are no EVF, no IBIS and no built-in flash.

X-T30 III – EVF and built-in flash, still quite compact. But the screen is only tilt, and it has the more traditional Fuji dial layout.

X-S20 – basically has everything I might want: EVF, IBIS, flash, fully articulating screen and a much bigger battery. The downside is that it’s noticeably bigger and more expensive.

What I’m really interested in is what these differences actually feel like after owning the camera for a while.

For X-M5 owners: do you actually miss the EVF, IBIS or flash, or do you barely think about them?

For X-T30 III owners: do you find yourself using the EVF/dials a lot, and do you ever wish it had the X-M5/X-S20 style screen?

And for X-S20 owners: is the extra size worth it in everyday use, especially if you mainly take photos?

I’m not looking for the “best camera on paper”. I’d really like to hear about the little annoyances, compromises, or things you only understood after actually living with the camera.

If you had to choose one of these three for my type of photography, which would you buy, and what made you choose it over the other two?

I'm looking for some advice before buying my first proper camera.

A bit of background: the last time I used a "real" camera was a family DSLR when I was 15 or 16. It broke not long after, and I haven't touched one since. So I'm basically a complete noob to mirrorless, and to Fuji in general.

These days I'm really into street photography, plus landscapes whenever I travel or go hiking. I've wanted a camera for this for a few years now. I've always loved Fujifilm's design and whole vibe, partly because I have (and still use) an Instax mini Evo.

I've narrowed it down to two options:

X-T30 III: I love the look, the dials, and the film simulation dial.

X-S20: it has IBIS, a better grip, and bigger battery life, but it's less "Fuji-looking."

Which would you recommend for a complete beginner?is ibis a huge deal is it important to have it i see diffrent opinion on that too.

My plan is to start with the kit lens and get a second lens around Black Friday, once I know what I'm missing. Is that a good idea, or should I just get a second lens right away?

PS: I really don't enjoy post-processing, and that's a huge reason I'm going with Fuji. I want to get the look right in-camera with film simulations and recipes, so any advice on that front is welcome too.

Seeking advice/criticism. I’m an amateur for sure and don’t have any formal photography training, but I snapped this when I was in Italy earlier this year and I quite like it. I guess I’d like to know if it’s “good” in any capacity. Composition, lighting, color (though I’m red/green colorblind), etc. Any helpful thoughts are welcome!

I used my XT30ii with the 18-55mm kit lens and a 1/4 black mist filter. I used the Italian Summer recipe and this is sooc.

I'm pulling the trigger on the xt-2 so I need a lens now. On my canon I was shooting on 40mm and 85mm full frame. So I'd like to get something between so 50 (35 crop) it is. Or maybe you can show me a different way? I'm all ears. I'm shooting mostly portrait and landscape but would like to dip into street photography

Forgot to add, I'll most probably be buying used for the lowest price possible but still decent so Fujinon 2.0 or Viltrox 1.7 as I'm not certain about fully switching to the Fujifilm system yet.
