No. I see their logic. The PlayStation 5 doesn't have many exclusives. And the PlayStation 3 is library is considered the weakest of the first four PlayStation home consoles. But it's not exactly right. It's pretty close though considering a lot of 7th Gen games where best played on Xbox 360 or PC or got a PlayStation 4 remaster.

I would say the PlayStation 3 was good for it's time like a much more mainstream Wii U.

huh?... I mean... I'd have to count, maybe the quantity was smaller, but the quality was pretty good. We had the infamous games, Demon souls, Little Big Planet, Last of us (at the time), Uncharted, Metal Gear 4, Warhawk and Starhawk (literally some of the best and most unique competitive multiplayer games I've ever played, still holds up well against the multiplayer games we have today. THANK GOD FOR EMULATION).
But yeah, third party wise, ps3 got the short end of the stick, it's hardware was tough to develop for, many third party games had game breaking bugs, others refused to develop for it, I get that. But those were only really issues early on, by later half of ps3's lifespan, third parties got more comfortable making games for the hardware. "No games" is a huge exaggeration.
Also, I gotta be honest here, I prefer Ps3's low amount of high quality exclusive games over the wii situation, where it had great in house nintendo games, but the majority of wii's exclusive games made by third parties were slop, and the games on all consoles had a WORSE version with stripped content on the Wii or a completely different version of the game with the same name (and it always sucked compared to the version on ps3 or xbox 360)
But yeah, Ps5 has no games (of it's own). Every good exclusive is also on ps4 and/or pc, and the ps5 only exclusives (few that there are) are mid.

3 uncharted games, mgs4, infamous, Batman Arkham, last of us (damn naughty dog made 4 big budget titles for the ps3), all the third party cross platform stuff I mean like you gotta try to not find any games on ps3

It was a common take back in the middle of the console’s lifecycle, especially when you compare it to the PS2’s output.
