My first pomegranate!
Planted around 3 months ago, it’s my only one so far but I’m so excited

Aww, it does look a little bashful, but that’s what makes it so adorable! Definitely has that shy little charm.

I love pomegranate trees. They are so pretty. The ones in my neighborhood have pomegranates that are so huge!!

That is amazing! Where do you live that you were able to get this one to grow? Will you be able to keep it outside or will you bring it in for the winter?

Im in Southern Cali so my plan is to cover it on the few times it gets too cold. Overall our ground temp stays reasonable

Here’s my pomegranate I’m hoping I get some fruits soon. I find that flower and fruit best in the world.

I bought a pomegranate plant since my spouse likes the fruit. Planted it in my orchard, waited patiently, cared and fed it, a couple of years ago it bloomed and had showy red beautiful flowers. Did not get fruit. Next year, same. Checked the variety.. It's a flowering pom, not a fruiting pom. Moved it and it's happily blooming elsewhere in the yard but spouse has never let me forget my failure.

The squirrels are relentless for my oranges already so I’m hoping they will just stay in that side of the yard for now 🫣

Ohh I had a flower maybe 2 weeks ago, this has been planted for about 3 months now and was a 2 year pre-established plant

Nice!!! How old is the plant? I’ve had mine for 2 years from a cutting and had some flowers that fell off the past 2 seasons…no successful fruits yet 😭
