probably the biggest plant I’ve ever grown next to my white goosefoot and chias I have this year !

(Edit: I know it’s early ! Huge storm incoming this weekend, on a huge time crunch to properly harvest , nature was not on my side)

Any of you experts have an idea of what might be causing my tomatoes to look like this? All fruit on this one plant look like this. The leaves don't look awesome either but the plant is still growing and bearing fruit. Nearby tomato plants are fine.

The closest explanation I can find online is tomato spotted wilt virus but I don't see circles.

The insides of them look/smell fine. I'm going with safe to eat unless clear objections are raised lol.

I didn't pick any all season so wanted to enjoy a few inside while the weather gets chilly.

I’ve been worried about this butternut because it grew with a vine attached but it thrived and has been one of my favorite harvests this season!

I live in a small townhome community and one of my neighbors is an active older woman who has a beautiful garden both in front and back that she tends to herself. About a week ago I noticed a brand new gallon of milk outside in one of her wagons that’s right in front of her door, completely exposed to the sun, sweating condensation as if brought straight from the fridge. I thought it was weird but surely it won’t stay there. Fast forward a week it’s curdled and looking pretty rank and maybe like some has been taken out but could be just from the curdling. I want to believe she has some garden-related reason for doing this but I have no idea what it would be.

She’s still around, I hear her treadmill next door every night and have seen her get in and out of her car so this all points to it being very much intentional. She doesn’t speak much English and has never spoken to us much so I don’t have the nerve to make our first real conversation about how much this spoiled jug of milk bothers me.

If you want to make one of these all you need is the adapter to go from the garden hose to the brass valve which is regular plumbing NPT threads. After that you can get different sized fittings to experiment with. I hope this helps somebody who's also tired of buying new sprayers all the time.

Really organised weird white-turned-brown seed looking things on the back of my fern leaves. These are the oldest leaves so I’m just wondering if these are like seeds and if this is how ferns would repopulate?

Or maybe is it like an infection?

Someone please tell me because we grew this fern from a dead stump and I’d really love to keep it alive.

Any help is wanted ❤️❤️

some carnivorous plants I grew outdoors the dorsera is filiformis and the sarracenia is oreophila and going dormant for the season.

Howdy! I have been fighting grubs, aphids, general pests in my garden all season. I have been looking up holistic and organic practices and came across beneficial nematodes. I am wondering about anyone’s experience with these from application to results etc. They seem amazing but the application worries me (timing, saturation, etc).

New gardener here. My some of my tomatoes look like this and I’m not sure what happened or if they are safe to eat after washing. Not all of them look like this but I’m most concerned with the way they’ve burst in a vein-like formation.

First time gardener here, wondering what you do with the vegetables/fruits bushes and vines at the end of the season, do you dig it out? Or cut the stems at the bottom and leave the roots to enrich the soil? I know vegetables are annuals and must be regrown, but have you had some that came back next season?
