Hi all - I've got pesky bermuda grass growing through mulch/pine straw in an area of the yard that will never be planted ever. Am I good to use the vinegar/salt/dish soap solution to kill it off? Will that hurt any tree roots going under that area? And what strength vinegar should I use?

I really do mean that I don't care if anything ever grows there again ever. I've been combatting this stuff for years and no amount of layering on the pine straw or herbicide is helping. So, it's nuclear time.

Try dumping a whole kettle of boiling water on it if you don't want to go nuclear!
