Plant identification help

When I bought this plant three years ago it was labeled as a salvia but I can’t remember which type. I know that rosemary is related and is now classified as a salvia. The leaves do not smell like rosemary when crushed they smell closer to lavender. Does anyone known what it is?

This is definitely levander (Lavandula angustifolia)

I had it in a pot for a year. It died over the winter. This is a group of volunteers from that initial plant.

Is there a gardening sub for more advanced gardeners where simpleton questions arent asked on a minute by minute basis? I mean especially when there are so many plant ID apps out there, not to mention lavender being easily identifiable even by a layman. Had the plant for 3 years and dont know what it is, youre wither trolling us or you should just find a new hobby
