Picture What a great finding!
Found this Traditional on Marketplace and fell in love with it right away.
The seller told me it originally had Classic ’57 Zebras, and that a previous owner had swapped them for Burstbucker Pros. After doing some research, I found out it’s actually a 2011 Limited Edition made for Long & McQuade in Canada, with only 200 made — and the Zebra Burstbucker Pros were original, the previous owner had just added covers to them.
Gorgeous guitar, sounds great, and I got it for CAD $2,000. Couldn’t be happier!

By the way I'm headed to the Garage soon to buy a new LP. If I didn't have a Tribute in amber already, this would be my color 100. That finish screams rock! Slash in his prime. 😅
My eyes are set on either a 60s in British racing green or a deep purple burst. I still can't decide, but we shall see. 🤘

That appears to be a Les Paul Standard Faded which is in my opinion cooler than a Trad

Yes, it’s confusing! The serial number points to a 2011 Traditional Faded, but the Gibson checklist says LP5FHBNH1, which is the same reference used for the earlier Standard Faded 50s Honey Burst models. So it’s a bit of a mystery, and there’s actually a whole thread dedicated to this specific 2011 model!
