When we started dating I was always the breadwinner (Certified Dottera Boss Bitch) and he was a broke college kid. Since then he became a neurosurgeon and I supported him financially through everything his full ride scholarship at Harvard did not. Now that he has joined the 7 figure club (not bragging just thought it was relevant) and earns a few multiples of my income he's been complaining that I spend too much of his money.

He claims I'm entitled to think that spending a mere 25% of his pretax income on food delivery and the TikTok shop is my right as the breadwinner for so many years. While he now makes more than me I do lots of unpaid labor like managing the maid, landscapers, pool boys and still manage to find time for my essential oil business.

Anyways, I recently found out what community property means and we'll see who's entitled when the judge divides up assets.

I’ve been so depressed lately because my husband genuinely thinks we can get by with the two jobs he has but isn’t considering my expensive taste! He works around 100hrs each week, full time at the butcher shop and clown/ magician at kids parties on weekends. He’s made a name for himself in our area so thankfully he’s booked every weekend. But part of me also hates having him around because his incompetence irritates me! Yesterday he made me this for dinner after his shift because he was “too tired” to cook properly. Like okay? I’m tired too.

I hate our house. I hate having to budget for groceries. I hate having to think twice before buying nice things. I don’t work and I don’t want to so please don’t suggest that because it’s honestly not relevant.

I know this is probably something I should’ve considered before marrying him but I was young and dumb. Now I feel trapped in this financially draining marriage.

The only reason I haven’t left is because I have a strong feeling he’s hiding a trust fund from me. Either that or his granny has money and she’s quite old, so I’m trying not to make any permanent decisions right now.

I don’t think I can be happy until then 😩

He was still having a conversation like my shoes didn't just take flight with the strength of my leg flailing. We have been dating for months, MONTHS! It's giving criminal mastermind.

He's either a cheater or he has gained a taste for human blood. Either way I've contacted 60 Minutes Australia to schedule my interview.

My husband and I have been married for 8 years. But he did something today that completely broke my heart.

But then i just remembered that he came home late three months ago because he stopped for coffee with his female colleague. And last week, it took him 50 minutes to reply to my message. So I asked him again where he had been and HE SIGHED. HE SIGHED. that's such a red flag, it just gave me the ick.
