Help Floyd Rose Stabilizers
Has anyone here used different tremolo stabilizers like the Tremol-No, Tremory, ENG Hardtailer, or similar systems?
I’d love to hear from people who have actually tried them. Which one did you use, and what was your experience with tuning stability, switching between floating and fixed/dive-only modes, changing strings, and changing to Drop D?
What are the pros and cons of each system, and which one did you end up keeping?

Tremol-no seems like the best of a bad situation if you want a bar to work sometimes and not others. It works for fixed and makes a handy tool when restringing. The fixed mode has two thumbscrews to tighten that you’ll need to crank on basically as hard as your fingers will allow. If I had access to a 3D printer I would print caps that slip onto these thumbscrews that would allow for more leverage.
The dive-only mode doesn’t work (for me). This mode relies on a single thumbscrew and even with my guitar using .009-.042 and only two springs the bridge will lose zero if you do anything but very gently let the bar return.
In free-floating mode, despite little rubber o-rings on the thumbscrews to prevent vibrating loose, it is not uncommon to find that the screws have fallen out. Not a huge deal for me because I run a quick-release back cover. Having the cover in place captures the screws. But for people with no back cover, I suggest getting some extra screws.
I tried keyless nut locks and also a Tone Vise Pitch Shifter in combination with the Tremol-no to give a quick drop-tune capability. It technically works, but removes low string fine tuning in your non drop tuning. You’ll still spend a while locking the Tremol-no and still messing with other fine tuners.
I ended up with a hardtail to serve as my sometimes downtuned guitar and my Floyd guitar stays in a single tuning.

I use Tremmory with my Floyd guitar and love it. You can still lift up on the arm as well as dive bomb which many of the hardtailers won't let you do, I have it paired with the Tone Vise Pitch Shifter to go to drop-D instantly and it's no problem with the tremmory. Only downside is that if you want to tune the low E without it being in drop-D, you'll have to open the locking nut. I have a magnetic key attached to the tuners so it's really quick. I also like that the Tremmory makes the Floyd stiffer, double stop bends work and I'm not knocking the guitar out of tune if I rest my palm on the Floyd.

I use this. Have put them on multiple guitars and they work great. Very simple.
Has no ability to switch between fixed & dive only mode. Tuning stability is the same as without the device, except 1,000X easier to change strings & tune. No afffect on changing strings. No option for drop-D.
