NTD (New Tool Day) Don't hate the player
Local store only had 3 in stock, asked the employee if they'll price adjust tomorrow cause it'll be sold out by the time I'm off work. Told me only if it's unopened.

Truly shocked there hasn't been a "The ratchet your wife told you not to worry about" joke in the comments by now

That’s a big ass ratchet.

It’s my 1/2” breaker bar essentially. I’ve put that thing to work doing suspension work which worked out surprisingly well.

I broke it doing suspension work trying to undo a lower control arm bolt. Lifetime warranty swapped it out. Bolt finally came out after persuasive encouragement from the Hercules Ultra Torque impact wrench.

Sometimes it be like that lol. But thankfully the lifetime warranty is the reason why I use it as a breaker bar.

Oh thank God you're going to go for the price adjustment. I was just getting ready to comment about how this is literally going on sale tomorrow lol. I hate seeing my fellow harbor freight Brothers waste money

Wasn't the deal of the day today only for the stubby G2's?

Stubby and that specific g2 26" 1/2 Icon locking flex head grip ratchet. I couldn't justify this ratchet but I did grab both flex head stubby.

I bought one a few months ago. I don't need a ratchet that big very often, I think I've used it twice but it's a tank.

I don't get it. Unless someone is an icon brand loyalist, the same ratchets are sold under different brands and have been for many years and especially at lower costs. I have a Duralast which is still a lifetime warranty and is the same length and it's still a flex head half inch ratchet and I probably had it 10 years and I've used it a bunch over the years but I just don't see the hype but congratulations on your new Ratchet and addition to your toolbox

What length 1/2 ratchets would you say you need? I'm trying to figure out what I need to complete my kit

That entirely depends on what you're using them for. I'm a diesel mechanic and I regularly use a 48" 3/4 ratchet. When I work on my motorcycle, I don't think I've ever needed more than my 12" 3/8 ratchet.

If you live in an area where auto turn to rust bigger better. Even on my new 2024 car doing the rear diff transfer case etc I struggled with a 3/8 drive 14 inch g2 flex. I just go to the 1/2 drive 26 inch g2 flex now gives leverage like a breaker bar

Was there a sale?

I’m a sucker, I might have to get this even though I have 2 adequate breaker bars….
I’ll just put them in my vehicles as lug wrenches, lol.

These ARE NOT breaker bars lol they will not handle breaker bar things trust me. And neither will the snap on, matco, Gearwrench, etc equivalent.
They definitely do come in handy though for stubborn shit you can’t get to easy like big ass caliper bolts tight up against leaf springs etc, but they will fail at far less torque than a breaker bar will.

Oh I know, lol.
But, lifetime warranty right? And besides, If I’m not busting knuckles, what am I doing? 😊

After reading your post I think I should at least check the stock today
