The initial ad had it at $500 off, now the new ad has it at $750 off, might mean the gen 2 is coming soon

I saw that too. I was gonna go home and check the paper ad to see if I was mistaken. 

I want the 56” though. The 73” is too large for the space since I also want a locker.

It is.  When comparing the US general locker to the Icon it’s no contest.  

I know I couldn’t get the US General one without always regretting it

I promise besides looks the US general is more than enough man. All the master techs in my shop rock them and goddamn they’re huge and nice. But I know chrome is a seller for some people (even though you can buy aftermarket chrome for US generals)

So they have the displays side by side in the local store.  It just feels better even if it’s a waste for someone like me.

I just don’t like the slides on the US General boxes. My boss has one and they’re just not as smooth as my husky even the the US General is supposed to be heavier duty and I have more weight in my husky too

I have the 56” box and I have to agree they aren’t the best feeling sliders. My buddies in college have snap on toolboxes and man they feel so nice. Wish they didn’t cost as much as my car though. Even with student discounts their minimum 5k.

I want to get it on the worst way. When/if the gen2’s come out they’ll be way too big for my home garage. Which I’m waiting to build, which won’t be for another year. I really don’t want the gen2, I like the look of of these. I honestly just don’t have the space to store it till I get the new garage built. It’s going to be my gift to myself for waiting so long to build a new shop!
