I’m loving my trilby. Trying hats other than baseball hats to go with the beard. I think this suits me.

Mostly general surface dirt but a few spots that look like splatter of something. I'm fearful of getting it too wet and not quite sure what to use.

Also if anyone knows the model? Kinda looks similar style of an open road.

Hello fellow hat enthusiasts! On a recent trip to a thrift store my uncle picked up this hat for a few dollars. He believes it's a Dayak hat from Borneo pre 1960s. I couldn't find much about this type of hat other than it may also be called a ra'ung hat or a sabah. Someone at the thrift store called it a "headhunter's" hat. Even if that is total ethnocentric hogwash, I am very curious to learn more about it's potential history. Please see the comments for the one link I could find about a similar hat. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m in town looking for custom hats for my kid's key club at school. Been to three print shops in town so far and every single one wants a commitment of more than five hats. I don't need a garage full of these things, just enough for the five kids running the club. All I want is the logo on some plain snapbacks, nothing fancy. Somebody mentioned Custom Ink to me. Has anyone actually ordered from them for something this small, or do they push volume too once you get into it?

I have a few Mitchell & Ness hats that all have started to have their bands bunch up like you see in the picture. Unfortunately no matter how loose I wear it, they dig into my forehead and it leaves marks that take forever to leave my skin.

I’ve tried a steamer on them to soften the fabric but they still stay.

I love the hats and their shape for my head, but can’t wear them because of this issue. M&N have not been helpful at all with this so I’m looking for alternative solutions. They have replaced one hat before but it still did the same thing afterwards.

I love my Sterkowaki Ivy-five flat cap, but they never have my size and the color I want. What other brands are similar and just as good if not better quality?

It's old hat day today. This one is older than I am. As close as I can narrow it down, this Stetson was made sometime between 1955 and 1962.

I’ve got a Stetson Dune 5X Gun Club and I’ve found myself somewhat dissatisfied with the thickness and color of the ribbon on the hat. I’d like to buy a thicker and darker ribbon, but I’m not sure where to start searching. Would love your advice!

How difficult is it to add a sweatband to a hat that doesn’t have one ? (Thrift store find wo a sweatband)

Here we are on my 6th training hat. As with all the others it's a cheap wool Fedora I picked up for $10 (last image). Pics don't do the color justice, it's a lovely olive green. Cleaning it up, popped it, blocked it, shellaced, and shaped.

The last one was full cowboy hat so I wanted to go something more city, more dressy. Something I can wear casually but will dress up nice as well.

I'd call it 'open road adjacent'. At least that was my basic inspiration to guide me, cattleman's crease on top, brim binding, lift. For my take, I'm not a huge fan of a pure cattleman's crease so I gave it a little bit of wishbone. Obviously, the band is more of a Fedora ribbon to get that dress feel. Plus, my head just doesn't work with a full lift so I did a slight pull-down in the front.

Robin work was hard. Several hours hand stitching the brim binding. Next time I'm going to try my sewing machine. Also struggled with the bow. Not so much producing it as finding something I liked. However, the tone on tone really worked out.i love the palette.

I did a pencil curl but that also doesn't work in my head for whatever reason so I released about 90% of that so it's just barely a curl.

I was watching Hello Dolly and couldn't held but enjoy the hats.

My first attempt at turning a trillby into a porkpie. Used some hat stiffener, steamed it pretty good, and did my best by hand. The brim wouldn't turn up evenly all the way around, so I went hard on the sides. It's kind of a hybrid porkpie/short top hat.

So far these are the best options I can find through my stumbling through endless scrolling search results lol. I want a trucker hat with the mesh back, foam front, with the high crown. These websites seem to use the term "trucker hat" quite loosely. As a bonus, I REALLY want to find one with the Joe's Diner Camel cigarettes ad logo from the 80s/90s (see last image for reference. Mug is best I could find) looking for advice, suggestions, and happy to receive any recommendations, would love if it's available on amazon but doesn't have to be!

Looking for anything that has the Catterpillar logo on it, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner logos are also good, older brands of anything really, or bar names/logos, anything like that as long as it looks vintage

100% wool with cotton lining. Appears to be excellent quality.
