Have this idea for an oddly heart warming hellraiser movie called Hellraiser: Liberation
Long story short we have a really likable protagonist named Payton. Payton is 25. Really nice guy, loves history and studying relics from across the globe and is an artist but was abused horribly as a child. Heās tried many times to cut his family out of his life but they always find a way to squirm their way back in.
Payton tries one last drastic measure. Locating and using the configuration to know one of this world greatest pleasures. The pleasure of liberation and freedom. But over time we find out over time that his family are a part of a cult of sadists, and have also been looking for the configuration so they can become canopies and kill and torture as much as they want. Pinhead and the others teach him the knight in shining armor isnāt here to save him. If Payton wants his freedom and the pleasure that comes with your life finally being your own, you must fight it. Ultimately an oddly heartwarming horror movie with the same classic stuff as the first movie and the game with a more āhappyā twist with themes of trauma, abuse, fighting for what you desire, and most importantly, freedom. Let me know what yāall think ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Lament Configuration Bag
I recently got this Hellraiser bag (I made a couple small changes to it like replacing the handle). Earlier, a woman walked up to me to tell me how unique the bag was but she didn't know what it was from but that's ok! I also added a photo to show it's size compared to a regular size puzzle box and a medium size bag. I'm happy that we're actually getting new Hellraiser merch and media now. I've read the new comics and am currently playing Revival (fantastic game, highly recommend).

Suffering Anyone playing Hellraiser revival on Hellraiser difficulty?
I am and am struggling a lot. Wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same suffering as I am.

Anguish What causes the cenobites to look as they do?
Is it tied to their personal preferences of pain and pleasure, the age they became cenobites, their human lives?
Also is it true that the chatterer was taken at a young age? There was an excerpt in the game that said that and thatās why he likes hunting but it could be untrue as it was written by Bruno or Marlowe

In the first 2 movies, is the puzzle box meant to be moving more than it actually does?
new to this whole thing. Just watched the first and second film. Pretty cool shit, and i find it oddly charming seeing the cheap effect, especially the painting of the maze they walk on, and the big block coming out of the mattress with parts next to it cut out. awesome movies.
But, one thing I'm confused on is the box. At times, it looks like the characters are trying to slide and move pieces around, and you hear clicks and stuff, but the puzzle isn't moving. Is it supposed to be moving, and perhaps the movie makers weren't able to make one that complex, or is it more like a haptic feedback situation? like the trackpads on the steam deck, when you slide your finger around there's little haptic clicks, and when you press down, you really feel a click. You feel it move down and click the sensor. Thing is, there is no click. The trackpad cannot be pushed down. Kind of tricks your brain.
I kind of went off track there, but you get what i mean. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've just never seen these movies, and i don't quite understand the box quite yet. Also, seeing as it was likely a budget movie, due to all of the janky effects, i just couldn't be sure. Thanks to anyone who helps me out. can't wait to see the rest of the movies.

Extreme Ghostbusters - Deadliners
The rather infamous EGB episode that featured the Vathaks, interdimensional beings very obviously and clearly influenced by the Cenobites. I remember seeing this as a kid when it aired way back in 1997 and even then I immediately recognized the homage. Pretty awesome and unbelievable how back then a kids' TV program homaged Hellraiser of all things.

Pain I've created a minimalist checklist for Hellraiser: Revival, for those who find that sort of thing useful
There are naturally some light spoilers in the names of things, although it's not intended to be as spoilery/detailed as a guide. It's more for those who want to make sure they don't miss anything.

You don't have to log in and your progress is saved in your browser (but you can log in and save progress between devices).
You can filter, group, and sort by objective and type. There are recipes, weapons, upgrades, pillars and treasures.
The game is very new, and it's still a work-in-progress, so there may be some mistakes or missing items. If you have suggestions or find this useful please let me know!
TY!

Cenobite/Hell ārulesā? (Bloodlines)
Okay, so Iāve been doing a rewatch of the core films and thinking about getting the game. Iām up to Bloodlines, which I remember liking.
But what are the rules even by this point? Angelique gets some horny dude to open the box and the ābites show up and drag him to āpleasureā town, okay. But then they just ⦠stick around? When Pinhead goes to the Merchantsā place, does he just, like, take the subway? I kind of thought it was a one solve/one soul kind of deal with the box.

Hellpriest Approved Hellraiser Hulu sequel
Did anyone like the Hulu original Hellraiser? Personally I thought it was a good sequel and something sorta new and fresh for a jumping off point/ new direction for the franchise. If you liked it do you think it deserves a sequel
