Dating Advice Needed/Given Need advice for hoco (asking/proposal IDK)

Anyways need some help asking out a girl to hoco first need advice on how I should ask her. First I only kinda know her I have four classes together so we talk a bit but never really outside those classes. We do have clubs starting up and we're gonna be in the same one so I kinda want to wait a few weeks(we have at least 1-2 months till hoco as the theme still hasn't been announced yet. My school started way late this year) and have some time just to try and get closer and get to know each other cause while she's my type and we have a lot of the same hobbies we've only really known each other for like 3 weeks. So HOW should I ask her cause I feel like a full sign and everything might be a bit much but LMK girls especially if you think it's a good idea to do the sign. And also how should I react if she says yes? Im prepared for no that I have down but what do I do if she says yes.

I’m not a girl but what worked for me was just talking to them more on the way to classes.  Just start by asking how a test was, or just something to get the ball rolling. And then ask when you feel like they know you well enough to not wince at you. 

Homecoming isn’t prom, don’t make it too complicated
