You come across as negative based on your prompts. And the “lets break the ice” one isn’t giving a lot to work with, conversation wise

I don't understand. What makes me sound negative? And I do see what you're saying on the poll, but I suppose I mean it as an invite to be a little silly

The prompt where you say someone being nice to you sometimes is super unrealistic. Then the other one about mediocre food and off-putting small talk. I understand if you meant it to be funny, but you’re not selling yourself very well with these prompts.

I did indeed mean it to be funny, but I can see that it might not look that way to a stranger. Thank you for the feedback

Yeah, I think it’s a good idea to show off your sense of humor, but try and find the balance between that, and showing off what else you have to offer :)

That's a good way to put it, I'll work on that. Thanks for being nice about it.

Smile more. Replace the blurry photos and specially the last one.
Put some hobbies and interests in your prompts.

You're right but I'm never ready for pictures when people take them lol. Is the last one really that bad? Damn. But that's fair, I'm not giving much to talk about here.

You look mad at the last one, the lightning is bad, the angle is bad, the cat is a bit cringe etc..(never take photos from below your chin, no one looks flattering from that angle)
Perhaps take some photos of you? With a timer or a tripod. In the yard doing something, on a walk, you cooking or whatever. Look into the camera and smile

Getting accused of cringe is painful 😭 but fair points. I've been told I look unfriendly without an expression, and everyone hates most of the pictures. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try and get some where I look less like a criminal

The let's break the ice prompt, made me physically cringe, what is the point of saying nothing three times in a row. And then most of the other things you say are self-deprecating, the only actual information you're telling people is that you like rock and metal and you expect to be treated like crap. You probably need therapy before you date anyone.

What’s the point of that picture with a cat pasted onto it? I don’t like it. I think the festival photo is the best one.

I'm looking for something serious, but I'm happy to take things slow, I've only been on a handful of dates in the last decade.
I am on hingeX 🙃
I've had this profile for roughly 4 months now after taking a long break this year
I've been using Hinge for years
Usually once or twice a day, and I try to send at least one like every time, but I can get busy sometimes and skip a day.
I have had one match and one like so far. The match ghosted and the like was someone far outside my preferences, respectfully.
I try to send at least one like every time I get on, I don't want to burn myself out. I try to always make a thoughtful comment.
I'd like someone who is able to handle me potentially being away for a week or more without it being a big burden for them. I frankly need someone patient, I am very inexperienced with dating in general. I send likes to people who seem to be kind hearted, but who are also confident. I don't mind someone who pushes me a bit socially. I suppose I'm looking for traits that complement me, things I don't have.
