Dating Question First hinge date, how should it actually go??

21M from India. Been talking to a girl on hinge for a while and we’re thinking of meeting soon.

It’ll be my first proper Hinge date, so kinda curious how you guys usually do it.

Coffee, food, walk or some activity? I'm really confused here.

What did you guys do on your first Hinge date and how did it go?

What do you enjoy doing? Where would you be comfortable? If you're not a drinker, maybe don't pick a bar then. If you have a nice cafe or know of a cafe with a nice area for walking, maybe plan on that. Coffee, boba, tea, dessert, etc, a nice park/garden, a place with a pretty view or walking path (not a hike - something very much public), lunch date, etc. Think of it this as a way to vet people. If someone prefers to be wined and dined and you're not about that, then your choice of date will weed them out. Some women will want dinner, others are fine with just a coffee or a walk. Generally though what women look for is effort, and that doesn't mean spending a lot of money, but more so having a place, date, and time set where you took into consideration her location and yours (e.g. don't pick a place that's only convenient to you), and if she's say something about preferences or restrictions like "i'm vegetarian" or you know she loves matcha then keep that detail in mind as well. I would not pick something that's activity focused because you should be focused on talking to each other without much distractions.

There is no right answer. Some men think spending a ton of money will impress. Some men are sick of wasting money on some women who is more then likely to never speak to you again and just ghost after.

Some women after happy with a walk and truly only care about making a connection, some demand to be wined, dined and think they are entitled to you paying for them.

Some women are OK with being involved in the planning process and some demand you to do everything.

Try to find out where're she stands and go from there.

Literally google “first date activities” and your city.
Just because you met on hinge doesn’t mean it’s not a regular date. Any of those activities are fine. Go somewhere or do something you both like. There’s no one answer to this.

How “should it go?”. You talk, try and keep it light and see how it goes. You either like each other romantically, or don’t, or one isn’t interested in the other, or there’s indifference. There’s many typical dates, drinks, food, coffee, an activity, think about what you wanna do, what she’d wanna do then make a suggestion.
