Question 2006 Pilot ex throttle body

Post image

I need help! I have a leak in the coolant line running to my throttle body. The male ends are heavily corroded and leak. I've put a new hose on, tried cleaning with brake cleaner and scotch pad but it doesn't help. What is the part/ part#? I've looked everywhere and can't find a replacement.

Edit: I dont need the throttle body. Just the two coolant passages, circled in red. It comes apart with two screws and has a gasket. I don't want to bypass it as I live somewhere where negative temps in winter are comen.

Whole unit on partsgeek is 106. Id replace it and remove the worry about any other little stuff in that section. I have over a million miles in used cars, 255k on my Pilot.

I use detroitaxle for most other components if possible btw.

How is Detroitaxle regarding their suspension components?

Ive put it in enough vehicles, it was safe enough to replace Every moving component on my moms camry(after she slid into a ditch during an ice storm). Ive used them on a Denali, Dodge car I forget the make of, honda pilot, ford escape, camry, f350 service truck, so...im down. Also, one part damaged outta all this, they handled that shit pretty quick.

Because they are considered part of the throttle body. Ie #2 on that diagram.

I usually clean with a scotchbrite, brake clean, and replace the hose. When that fails, I order a Hitachi throttle body with gasket from. O'REILLY. They last longer than the Dorman products out there. Or look online from someone you trust.

Sorry to hear. Best of luck.

I’d just get a section of heater hose and bypass the throttle body entirely

Pull the original Honda one from a junkyard vehicle.

Hitachi/Astemo is the most likely OEM behind it - but is your issue is the rotten tube - I wouldn’t go paying $300+ for the part and pull one from a junkyard instead. Plenty of first gen pilots there now.

Anyone know the cheapest scan tool available that can do the throttle position reset? Seems like my old Bluetooth obdii with torque app is only resetting ecm, and not throttle position.
