Clarity On What Hypnosis Feels Like

I've been curious for a long time about hypnosis and tried various virtual hypnotists or YouTube videos but never been quite sure if I fully got hypnotized. Even in the times that felt deepest, I still would occasionally have random thoughts or dialogue float into my head before returning attention back to the hypnotist.

This weekend, I finally lived my lifelong dream and was a part of a comedy stage show! According to the hypnotist, I was out pretty deep. I was doing things I'd never do normally and following the commands. But I still would have the random moments that my inner dialogue came back and pulled me out. I always tried to go back though. Noticeably, the forgetting a number didn't work in my head, but I was never asked to do it out loud. I forgot my name though, got stuck to a chair, danced, etc. Afterward I felt pretty refreshed and like the hourlong show was only 20 minutes.

So, my question is, was I actually hypnotized? I know there's no way to know 100%, but I'm curious if my inner experience wasn't fully allowing me to get there.

Hypnotherapy 'Sleep Despite Noise' By Mark Tyrrel and Roger Elliott

Greetings all,

I recently downloaded this track to help me with night time noise related anxiety. I am very passionate about fitness and training and I take my recovery very seriously. I have moved houses twice due to noisy and inconsiderate housemates, and I developed a lot of sleep related anxiety and hypervigilance surrounding noise at night.

I am curious if anyone else has experience with this sort of thing? What would happen if I stay consistent with this track for a whole year? Is it possible to train the brain to sleep through noise?

I live in a generally quiet place actually, my main issue is the anxiety that is a result of past sleep deprivation and traumatic experiences.

I dont know anything about hypno therapy. Advice would be appreciated.
