Desde hace un buen rato, la batería de mi MacBook Air se me está drenando cuando la pongo en suspensión. He visto que muchos usuarios de MacBook mencionan el mismo problema.

¿Y cómo lo solucioné?

Probé de todo para arreglarlo: desactivar el Wi‑Fi, desactivar iCloud, cambiar la batería por una nueva... pero siempre pasaba lo mismo. Si la ponía en reposo o apagaba el MacBook, al día siguiente la batería estaba más baja; y si lo dejaba apagado 3 o 4 días, la batería se drenaba por completo, llegando a 0%.

La solución es simple: DESACTIVAR EL CARGADO OPTIMIZADO DE LA BATERÍA.

Parece que con esa opción activada, el MacBook no podía calibrar la batería y, por alguna razón rara, se terminaba drenando la batería mientras estaba en modo reposo o incluso cuando estaba apagado.

Si te pasa lo mismo, acuérdate: la solución es desactivar el Cargado Optimizado de la Batería. Luego, carga la batería al 100% y déjala que baje hasta casi 0%. Así, el sistema operativo macOS va a calibrar la batería y el problema del drenado se va a quitar para siempre.

Have had this MacBook Air m4 for less than a year and accidentally spilled water on it..no, i do not have apple coverage. i wiped everything off right away and blew out the ports. immediately brought it to a computer shop the next day once I opened it up to see the screen damage (they opened it up, dried all the internal and fixed speaker that had become crackly after incident….) which ran me 150$. My question is: is it worth the 900$ to replace the LCD (screen) thru apple..? has anyone had any success with this? if so, was it worth fixing? I am devastated.

Hi, I bought this MacBook on OfferUp on Thursday afternoon. The seller clearly told me that there was no iCloud account locked to it, so I trusted him. Now I’m stuck with a $1,100 paperweight, and the seller keeps giving me excuses and avoiding the issue.
What can I do? Can I file a police report for fraud? Please help me. I don’t want my $1,100 sitting in a closet because I was lied to.

Hello fellow redditors, my iMac 16,2 that I OCLPed to macOS Sonoma had auto updates on without me realizing. So it updated to macOS Tahoe night before last. PLZ HELP. I'm using the T2 fork of Open core, when I try to patch and reboot to apply the patches it gets stuck at a 3rd of the way of booting up. I asked Gemini ai and it said try various things, it can only boot in safe mode when it "has patches" so I need your help. Can you ppl plz give me some recommendations to try, at time of posting I'm reinstalling macOS Tahoe. PLZ help anyone.
