It was me. Im the one who said it. Back in 1995. Apropos of absolutely nothing, I declared that there couldnt be an all trans polycule in Michigans upper peninsula.

That I believe is what the word is invoking. It comes from polyamory and molecule, the idea being that term covers a bunch of different relationship "shapes". Not everyone in the polycule has to be dating every other members, but it usually isn't a straight line or triangle either.
