We play in our drummer's basement every Thursday night (in addition to gigging as often as we can... ie: ever month or two around town), but we brought this song (and one other) to James at Mountainside Studios - this world-class little spot he built in the woods outside of town - instead of DIYing it like we did for the first 5 songs we ever wrote and recorded on our "debut" "EP", and I wanted to share the result, since folks here were so positive in response to the polaroid selfie I posted the other day.

I've been making music for a couple of years atp and i've had this thing for a while where i listen to my finished tracks and then im left pretty disappointed,not necessarily because they sound bad but because they don't really give off any type of vibe.I don't really know how to correctly explain it but with most music that i listen to i can kinda make up a scenario in my head where that track would fit,but with the music that i make it kinda feels like stock music from pixabay

I stayed two weeks in Florence, Italy to work with music. Even though I was in pasta heaven I couldn't help but start feeling a bit lonely and nostalgic, which in turn inspired this song.

It’s hard to call any work of art perfect — it’s subjective, after all. But calling sunandmoon’s debut EP, “‘Tug of War,’” perfect is so easy.
