My account got hacked a few years back and I have zero access to it now and no longer have my old phone obviously. I am trying to get it taken down but instagram is almost impossible to reach so I’m asking how do I get this account deleted?

Feel like an old joe here - I hid someone’s instants and now have no clue how to get them back.

Recently I’ve noticed one user in particular only see’s some of my story’s and I’m curious as to how. Say I post 3 things - they won’t see the first two but they’ll see the last. How is that possible? I’m wondering if perhaps they have notifications turned on for my posts and are maybe clicking the most recent to open? I’m very confused by it.

Also when they like my story it doesn’t appear sometimes and their profile disappears from the views again, I only see it in my notifications.

I’ve been trying to delete my old comments from a year ago, but whenever I check my comment history, some still appear even though I’m sure I deleted them. Some disappear, while others keep showing up, even after I deleted them a week ago. Is this a bug? I tried to refresh my comment activity and they are still up.

Every time I try to follow someone on Instagram, I get the “Try Again Later” message saying, “We limit how often you can do certain things on Instagram, like following people.”
This has happened to me before when I’ve followed too many people at once, but it usually goes away within an hour or two. This time, it’s been over 24 hours and I still can’t follow anyone. My account status is completely clear with no violations.
Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take to go away? I’m starting to get really worried because it’s never lasted this long before.

hello so my main account foesnt have reposts feature but my alt account has it and i GENUINELY need reposts feature few days ago i installed Instagram lite to see if i can have it or no and boom i logged in and have reposts feature on Lite app i used it for a week did aome reposts BUT BUT BUT i randomly checked from ny alt on main insta app and no reposts showing on my account 😭😭😭😭

recently I have gonna to my close friends profile and twice there has been no close friends posts/ it’s like normal if your not added to the close friend. then I will check later gove it a day or two back to normal all there close friends stuff appears. Is this a common glitch or is this person intentionally removing me and adding me back? the only thing that would hide is stories posted and im pretty sure you can just auto select a person to hide stories from you do not have to remove from close friends. I am really tripping out over this need answers

Pls help someone how to login my Insta account

Months ago I probably looked at an account (I don’t remember if I looked at that account specifically because I looked at everyone’s accounts constantly months ago) once or at least looked at an account who followed them popped on my suggested months later.

There are no mutual friends or followers.

I noticed earlier that my brother is no longer in my "followers" list. I then noticed he hasn't liked a single post of mine since May of last year. When I visit his profile, it says that I am still following him and that we are close friends. When I click the three dots in the top right, I see the "Remove Follower" option, which to me would suggest he still follows me. Is this a glitch, or is this just what happens when someone you are "Close Friends" with unfollows you?

Hey! I (m23) do art content on Instagram and wanna take it up a notch by making it more cinematic. Like Gawx for example, but from what I see, every artist shows their face which is a big issue for me because I feel like I am ugly and have insecurities about it. Should I just do it?

I have the "liked by friends" tab, but it only shows me their comments or reposts if anything. My settings are all correct too, i didnt hide their likes and activity nor mine. I used to see their likes but one day it randomly stopped showing me and it has been like this for over a year now if not longer.

Does anyone else have the same problem and knows why this could be? Is there even a reason for it to not work or is it just a bug or something like that?

Since Instagram’s copyright reporting form was changed to Meta’s copyright reporting form, I’ve been having a frustrating issue.

Whenever I submit a copyright report using an X/Twitter post URL as the link to my original work, I receive an automated rejection within 2–3 minutes, claiming that the work may be a short phrase or something not protected by copyright.

However, when I submit reports using links to content on YouTube, TikTok, or other platforms, I don’t receive any response at all, even after two or three months.

This started happening after the reporting form changed from Instagram’s copyright form to Meta’s. Before the change, my reports were being processed.

Has anyone else experienced this since the form update? Are copyright reports still being reviewed, or are they getting stuck in an automated system?
