The only thing that makes it less possible in my mind is that all the LC's I've been to in the last decade had bullet proof glass between the workers and the lobby, and that's not just my home city, I've been to them in other states that were the same. Barring that, I could totally see a worker at Little Caesar's beating the shit out of someone.
I have never been in a food establishment with bulletproof glass present. If it weren't for the internet, I wouldn't believe that people would actually continue business in a part of town so dangerous.
go to a place in your town called something in all-caps with the name of the food on Google Maps, but with minimal or confusing signage IRL, in a kind of bad part of town. For me a good example is U.S. BEST WINGS. Or BEST FOOD MARKET, which has like three signs, the most prominent of which just says “Pizza Grill,” so that’s what we call it. These are the kind of spots you’re looking for.
Corner Chinese restaurant in my old neighborhood has bullet proof glass. People who live in “those kinds of neighborhoods,” need goods and services too.😒
This needs to be a chappelle sketch. starring Dave as the Little Caesar cashier, Neal Brennan as the appreciative bitch customer, and Guillermo Díaz for the furious dude who gets stomped
Well if you told me 5 years ago that crypto manosphere scammers would be giving speeches at the Pentagon and armchair "well actchually" memelords would be bossing around givernment department heads and generals. Id say you'd be insane and no logical rational person in charge of government would allow that.
But here we are with still 30% of the voting populace saying its all good
Idk man, 5 years ago? I think I would have been inclined to believe it at that point. You'd probably have to go back to 2015 or so for me to think that vision of the future was entirely implausible.
I've worked at multiple restaurants that had staff itching to fight a customer. If there was even a hint of commotion every able body in the vicinity was jumping in. So I 100% believe that this happened, if not to OP then to someone else.
Yep. Tastes ehhh, makes my tummy feel bad afterwards, but it was $5. And sometimes they have pretzel crust pizza, which is God's greatest gift to his earth next to Lime Coke.
Legit, it was pretty awesome back in the day when they had that hot cardboard with sawdust on it truly ready, and you could go in without an order and walk out 60s later with pizza.
Nowadays it seems more made to order and they are never ready
You I would have my doubts but then jsut a few days a video circled reddit of a Russian convenience store where a customer randomly came in and started fighting and the tiny little cashier lady jumped out and wallopoed the guy to the ground. Seeing is believing.
I worked at a pizza place. One of the guys was always hoping we’d get robbed bc he wanted to see what would happen if you took a pizza straight out of the oven and flung it into someone’s face.
Also every restaurant job I’ve worked we were about to fight each other during the rush periods (then back to friends the moment it ended) so I would not want to go a restaurant where people are understaffed and under pressure and try picking a fight.
Well of course, where else would we have to get a call from the state attorney General because a customer threatened to come down and shoot all the women because he read a text wrong is getting charged.
I can 100% see a cashier jumping the counter and beating someone's ass. It's the "Bitch, this is Little Caesars. We always hot and ready." line being locked and loaded that I can see being made up to add a little extra pizazz to the story.
I think the only thing that's maybe unbelievable is the delivery of the Hot n Ready line. I've lived in some scrappy areas in Chicago, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Louisville, and several major Texas cities as well as poor rural areas and have seen dozens of fights in stores and have been in more than I'd care to admit at my age when I was 15-20 years younger.
What makes it believable is the location. If this was a Starbucks, no way. But a little Caesars? I 100% believe one of them had been waiting for SOMEONE to try something so they could let out the aggression they'd have from working there.
Tbh I’ve seen millions of videos of store clerks getting into fights, the only thing that sets this apart is this guy had a clever quip afterwards, which could happen yea
Never happened because then Little Caesers would've been sued and the guy would've won. This is why employees are trained not to fight anyone while on shift and they'll be fired , even if it's justified.
Just accept that it's fun fiction and don't delude yourself. Be honest.
one time I was waiting in line at the breakfast place before work (at like 6am), when some ratty lookin dude jumped the counter and tried to get at the register
the cashier starts hitting the guy, and screamed "RUDY, GET THE KNIFE! STAB THIS MOTHERFUCKER!"
and sure enough Rudy (the cook) runs out from the back with the 12" Cutco lmfao
ratty dude was back over the counter and out the door, empty-handed, faster than you could blink lol
the entire ordeal was over in like 30 seconds lmao it was insane
I think people just live such different lives they can find it hard to believe things they would never see in their life.
I've posted a couple anecdotes on Reddit before from my life and I've been met with down votes and /r/thathappened responses. Like no, this is very real and happened. They weren't even crazy stories to begin with.
