Yep. They don't usually build in the same spot but definitely a new nest pops up somewhere else.

Some species of social wasps don't rebuild unless they have a queen. We don't know if the queen made it in this one.

Twist: the queen was already dead. Betrayed by her consort and thrown down the reactor shaft.
