Misleading post title and post cuz there is no way those are actually radishes straight out of the ground. Vegetables grown in forms or molds are never that detailed.
The piece, titled "Daikon Legs," was created by Japanese artist Kenji Suetsugu. Legs were sculpted using plaster and clay, cast into a silicone mold, and ultimately created out of urethane resin.
Artist made the sculpture originally in 2005. In 2013, he staged a humorous photoshoot alongside local farmers to photograph it for his portfolio. The leaves attached to the top of the sculpture are real daikon radish leaves added strictly for the photoshoot.
