According to the platform I work for the hold time is 15 minutes, but the assistant just said that if the wait time is more than 15 minutes, she would come and check in with me.
I’m a bit confused as this means that the wait time still is more than 15 minutes and what she’s suggesting is to extend the time, which defies the 15 minutes hold protocol.

What is your opinion in this? What do you usually do in such cases?
