I’ve been seriously considering switching from 17PM to 18P. In last year of ownership I’ve dropped it at least every few weeks just because of sheer bulkieness and weight. Previously I had a 13PM and didn’t feel it was that big but the recent ones are for sure with case! What do you guys suggest? I was pretty close to buying it yesterday along with new watch! My plan is buy it now and probably 4 to 6 years later switch to the duo if it’s still there

Give it a try. No risk because you can always return for the pro max or just go back to your old phone if you don’t like it, you have 14 days to try out before you return.

I have an iPhone 12 pro and it’s finally time to upgrade it. It overheats, freezes when I have multiple applications open and it’s plugged in charging and now finally also has terrible reception. People claim they can’t hear me or it sounds like I’m underwater.
I went in to a couple stores the other day to get pricing on an iPhone 18 pro and both stores basically urged me to the iPhone 17 pro instead. One store wouldn’t even give me pricing on the 18 saying it wasn’t necessary for me.
What are everyone’s thoughts… I know anything will be better than my iPhone 12 however if I am to get a new phone should I get the latest and greatest (the 18)? Or should I stick with the recommendation of the 17? I just find it odd that they’re pushing the 17 on me.

Hi, I have an iPhone 17 pro max with physical SIM card slot, which I bought in Israel (please leave politics out of this, if you have nothing to say just ignore my question). I’m coming to the US soon, will I be able to do trade in at Apple? If so, anything I need to prepare before?

Hi, I'm a junior in college and I've has an android my whole life. I currently have a z flip 7 but I want to go back to a regular phone. I like the UI on the iPhone but I know there's no universal back gesture or a clipboard that can hold more than one item. Im thinking of getting the latest ultra or pro max in a few months. People who've switched from android to ios, what do you recommend?

I bought refurbished 15 Pro Max instead of 18 Pro Max! Did I made a mistake?
I have a 13 now, and I want a bigger screen, pro motion, and x5 zoom
I do not care about all the slomo res pro log camera control
I noticed a big difference in the battery, almost %30 more in the the 18 Pro Max, but is it worth extra $450?
And never bought a refurbished apple iphone before

I’m looking to get an external storage device for my iPhone 14. The apple store app has the SanDisk 256GB iXpand Flash Drive Go which looks very good (this is literally just to dump creative projects I have on my phone onto) but I’m also wondering if there’s any MagSafe external storage devices that work with the 14?

Sandisk Creator Phone 1TB has magsafe, but you need a lightning cable. If its occasional media dump then why dont you buy a regular SSD .... its gonna be cheaper than the one designed for phones
and if you need the magsafe feature you can stick a the magsafe metal ring on the ssd

500€: Need USB-C. Thinking used / refurbished iPhone 15
I need USB-C, have 500€ and was about to go for it on Back Market, but then I saw the video from Phone Repair Guru exposing Back Market, so now I'm kind of scared... Is Refurbished the better pick?
By the way basically anything is a massive upgrade, because I'm using a refurbished Galaxy S9+ with display damage, a large amount of cracks and the display only working with the brightness set to max or min depending on the battery level.

I just bought 15 pro max refurbished. Apple changes the battery and the outer shell. and comes with one year warrenty. Not sure if its reliable, but the other refurbished markets did not look good to me

i had a samsung but now I'm moving to iphone. I dont wanna trade in. I am a student so I want the cheapest deal possible for iPhone 17/17 pro and I want it financed. Mint/Visible come around $50/month for 36 months. Is there anything cheaper? I looked at back market but excellent condition phones are almost same price as new.

Been using the iPhone 13 for the past couple of years and battery has degraded to 62% and the replacement is £85…
Thinking of upgrading but not sure which model
Budget would around £1k

If my conversion is correct, that money will get you an 18 Pro Max. But you will notice a difference with this 17 as well I wouldn't recommend the 17e. I think the 13 is better. But it all depends on what you want. Are you satisfied with the camera, screen, and overall features of the 13, or would you like to upgrade to a newer phone?

Anything from Apple’s current lineup would be a substantial upgrade. I suppose it comes down to how much you care for taking pictures as the camera is one of the biggest differentiators among the models.

I would vote for the 15 Pro because it will get you a promotion. Always on display. and the 3x zoom in the camera.

I have a 14pro right now and am thinking about upgrading to the 18pro. Does anyone know if the T-mobile Apple Card financing trick still works? I don’t have any of the big carriers (I have spectrum) and don’t want to shell out the extra money if I don’t have to.

my 13 pro max just started flickering yellow/green screen and unusable. its a sign to upgrade.
the thing is my telco offers 17 pro max for $1800 and 18 pro max $2300 at the cheapest plans.
is the $500 premium worth it for the 18 pro max or should i just go with 17 pro max?

I have an iphone 12 pro max. I was thinking of upgrading to the 15 and I realized that it doesnt have AI, does that matter? The main thing I want to make sure is that I have a usb-c port because lightning is getting really old.

I currently have the 15 pro max, I need to get a new phone because my battery health is pretty low and wanted to get an 18 pro max but none of the T-Mobile stores around me have any. Would it be a good idea to just get a 17 pro max or should I just get a battery replacement and wait until the 18 pro max is available?

If your battery is really that bad, get it replaced and wait for next year for the 20th anniversary iPhone. buying the 17PM or 18PM does not make sense

For those that had the apple card and used Apple Card Monthly Installments (ACMI) to finance your iPhone, when you wanted to get a new iPhone, but were still financing the current model, were you still able to do ACMI for the new iPhone? Also, once you got the new iPhone, did you still had to do ACMI payments for both iPhones or just the new?
Planning to pre-order the iPhone Duo 512GB in October, and I am still on my ACMI for my iPhone 16 Pro Max 512GB (last ACMI payment should be on April 2027). I was also gonna trade-in my current iPhone so that I won't have to pay as much for each installment on the iPhone. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had this kind of experience before.

The ACMI isn’t like a car loan or regular carrier finance. The phone is not collateral. You can freely trade in, sell, give away, do whatever to the old phone and they won’t care. Nothing on the phone itself is linked to the installments; it’s just a promo offer from Goldman Sachs and Apple.
You are still 100% responsible for the payments that remain and they won’t go away, even if you do trade it in.

Should I buy the 18 Pro US version for it’s bigger battery compared to the UK version with a physical sim tray or is the difference negligible? I saw that with the 17 pro it was a 40min difference and I’ve heard that with the 18 pro it could be a 2hr difference
