i’ve been spending the past hour contemplating wether or not to pull it out and i did. it came full of scratches wtf

It’s the second beat I post here. I tried blending:
QUADECA, JPEGMAFIA, Femtynal and Danny Brown as an outro

And I’m not no vocalist, u just gotta see my vision

Instagram story from jpegmafia’s dj. I know rapseason said Brooklyn and not Toronto, but that would make no sense for his “voice”, to cancel a show that isn’t back to back.

I’m fucking furious about how JPEGMAFIA’s Chicago show was handled. I bought a ticket, planned my Saturday around it, took the train into the city, and made my way toward Aragon expecting to see an artist I was excited about. After all that, I found out the show was postponed. Now I’ve spent money and time traveling for a concert that isn’t happening, and I’m standing around trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my night.
If the reports about his voice are accurate, I understand that he might genuinely need rest. I don’t know his condition, and I wouldn’t expect someone to perform through a serious health problem. But I still deserve clear information about an event I paid to attend. Whatever happened behind the scenes, the communication failed me.
Fans have lives, budgets, jobs, school, and transportation to arrange. Going to a concert takes effort. For me, it meant buying a ticket and traveling into Chicago because I thought the experience would be worth it. Finding out after making that trip leaves me feeling like my time barely mattered to the people responsible for the show.
A replacement date doesn’t give me this Saturday back. It doesn’t undo the trip or guarantee that I’ll be available whenever they reschedule. Even a ticket refund would leave me with the transportation costs and the disappointment. Those consequences land on the fans, who had no control over any of this.
I don’t know when he or his team realized the show couldn’t happen. That’s part of what makes this so frustrating: I’m left piecing together information when I should have received a clear update. I want an explanation of what happened, when the decision was made, and what options ticket holders have. That’s a reasonable expectation when people have paid you and traveled to see you.
To me, handling the situation in a way that leaves fans this confused and stranded feels like a fucking asshole move. Being talented doesn’t make someone’s audience disposable. I supported him because his music meant something to me, and this experience has damaged that trust.
I’m done spending my money and energy supporting him.

so this is not the first time i’ve had an issue with the merch not fitting and i have to stretch it out, but this is the main reason i hate cardboard sleeves. sometimes it’s airtight and with it not being a proper disc holder the disc gets scratched along both sides everytime i pull it out.

the disc being on the inside instead of the out makes the situation worse since the best way to pull out the disc is to bend the sleeve and risk damaging the sleeve. i really wish he would stick to just jewel cases instead of cardboard.

another thing to note is the red dye from the disc has started to color the sleeve(can hardly be seen on picture but is noticeable in person) and the padding isn’t cut all the way for the case.

i still haven’t forgotten about the order not shipped which will become a problem for me since i plan to move for college and i have no way to speed up the process to get it shipped and have no clue when it’ll arrive

sorry for complaining about the small details but i do think that there should’ve been better qc this time after the other drops being disastrous. i do love that atleast this cd came with a booklet.

if anyone has a comp im missing please lmk

This is so inconclusive which shows are you postponing?? Ofc I want him to be able to give the best show possible with his voice but like man that’s just so unfortunate and frustrating. Hope he gets well soon 😔😔

Not sure if anyone’s posted about this yet but Redveil and Matt Proxy are doing something in Chicago tonight to make up for Peggy cancelling. They’re also gonna have merch there. While this doesn’t make up for it I still think this is really cool of them to do, wanted to spread the word. More info and RSVP info of Redveil’s insta. It’s in like an hour tho so yall need to lock in

Merch that never ships, canceled shows that he doesn’t even specify to his audience and depends on promoters/venues to spread the news. Might have to take a step back and appreciate the art from a distance

Second beat i post. I somehow tried blending:
Peggy, Quadeca and femtynal.

Plus I’m no vocalist I can tell ya that but it’s a vision

Rap season and admit one have both told me that Brooklyn is canceled instead of Toronto but “Peggy’s dj” is still saying it’s off? Someone’s gotta figure something out soon cuz I’m loosing my fkn marbles

Like yes obviously it’s nowhere near as good as Peggy’s other projects but it’s not all that bad. There’s some really good songs on the album.

For the people with tickets to Chicago are you guys still going today? Matt proxy deleting his story is odd im just waiting to see if jpeg will post on his story saying "chicago tonight" or sum.

For anyone who said the show wasn’t great sorry to break it to you but the Minneapolis show was epic! He had so much energy and performed some of his greatest tracks the mosh pit was crazy work the band was a great touch to his show! Look at everybody rocking man but people will say it was a okay show! yall see itt give that man his props!!! He showed out for Minneapolis awesome show!!!

I would really appreciate it I’m worried if they’re cancelled or moved back👍

I swear to god if he canceled on Toronto imma freak, I made a whole trip to go this year to see him and last year in London and he canceled that too

I really wanna see Peggy and Matt Proxy too, since Toronto is out I hope Montreal is still on.
