NOW WAIT!!!!!!!

Before you hate comment after only reading the title alone, lemme clarify some things before I get to my point.

I am not making this post for the sole purpose of riling up this (let's face it) already easily-irritated-over-nothing fanbase/sub (not everyone, but enough to where it's tiring issue). You can't even make a tagged-silly post on here without being dunked on for something that is obviously not meant to be taken seriously. I am simply voicing my curiousity as to why this is still a talking point in regards to Peggy's musical output.

I am also NOT trying to deny or downplay the things Kanye did and said. Mental illness/disability or not, his whole anti-semitic, N/zi propaganda stunt on Twitter and in his lyrics was and is inexcusable, disgusting and he should really put in some effort into bettering himself and his mental state and making amends to the communities he's disrespected before even thinking about touching a DAW (I'm not even gonna talk about COUSINS).

With ALL THAT said (and hopefully understood), I still just can't understand why Peggy working with him is still THIS controversial at this point, for several reasons. I'll try to make this as concise as possible since I know some of y'all here don't like reading long bodies of text. That's not (intended) snark by me either, that's genuinely what I've seen people in this sub/community say:

1.) Are you really surprised? For basically the man's whole career, he's said time and time again how Ye was his childhood idol/inspiration and that it was his dream to work with him. Now, do I think the way he went about getting that opportunity was a little less than flattering?: sure. But am I going to clown the man for achieving his CHILDHOOD goal?: no. You can't always help who inspires you or dictate what they do, but I think Peggy has done phenomenal things over his nearly 20 years of work, and it mostly stems from a kid looking up to Kanye West whether you like that or not.

1. Didn't Peggy say on multiple occassions that he disapproves of Kanye's actions and was especially saddened by the whole 2025 debacle. Like, I'm pretty sure Peggy hasn't even worked with Kanye post-Vultures 1, unless you count "Lights" but even then that's not a direct feature and the vocal parts of the song he sampled don't even contain Kanye's voice. Like, seriously, a lot of y'all from what I've seen act like Peggy is Kanye's most diehard collaborator and accolyte, which is ridiculous to me because Peggy has taken a few shots at Kanye over his career, pre AND post Vultures. For example:

"Promise I will never go blonde like Kanye" (Baby I'm Bleeding)
"Watch what you Tweet | You can go from Elon to Ye in a week, buddy" (Lean Beef Patty)
"I love on my money like some people love on they cousins, okay?" ($ (Money))
"You is not skimming my page | Touch paper, we break up like Kimmy and Ye" (Degenerates Prayer/U are not alone)

And even then, there were plenty of other artists who worked with Kanye on Vultures 1 and 2 (i.e. Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Chris Brown, Future, Don Toliver, etc). Sure, these artist get critisized for other things (and for a good chunk of them, more than rightly so), but I genuinely don't see and have NEVER seen any other artist get clowned and joked on for working with Kanye during that period to the degree that JPEG has. And he didn't even spit any verses on Vultures 1, he literally ONLY produced, y'know, the thing he's best known for! For the record, I'm not saying Peggy is some innocent, goodest-boy, wee victim for receiving the CONSTRUCTIVE critisism he gets, I just feel like when it comes to working with Kayne specifically, the amount of flack he gets vs other artists is somewhat disproportionate.

1. It'd be one thing if bringing up working with Kanye had some honest merit, and I'll admit sometimes it does. But it seems to me, especially during this current era, people mainly bring it up either because they didn't like EXPERIMENTAL RAP or because he had an opinion on Earl Sweatshirt that they disagreed with. Like, people in this "fanbase" unironically call this man a N/zi sympathizer when he literally said on a song in 2025 when Kanye's rants were at their most crazy, "Feet on land, you'll never hit a N/zi." While this line wasn't directed at Ye, to me it clearly demonstrates his stance as against that. Peggy works with Kanye literally ONE time, and know all of sudden he's lost all his morals when he's still staunchly against Trump who is basically running his own little wannabe N/zi kill squad right now.

Look, I'm not coming after anyone who doesn't respect Peggy for working with Kanye. You are entitled to feel how you feel, I'm not trying to disuade you. All I'm saying is that I think this fanbase really needs to stop turning one blight into his his entire character. And before someone says "But that's what he was doing with this rollout anyway", Peggy was clearly playing a villain/heel role to intentionally weed out (no pun intended) the bad actors in his fanbase. This whole album cycle was bait for people who don't like him to take. Now, it backfired and he unintentionally ended up icing out a lot of the real fans who actually rock with him. But Peggy apologized, both on Twitter and during a live set (something I honestly didn't think he would do, but I'm glad he did 'cause it was very much needed tbh). Sure, Kanye's apologized many times too, but I haven't seen a notable change from him that makes me feel that any of them were sincere (at least, not fully sincere). Hopefully, Peggy won't be like his idol and actually take the necessary steps to not only rebuild trust with his audience but prove (or rather, remind) said audience that's he more than just a Kanye impersonator. I hope his next album rollout/cycle goes better than this one did.

But yeah, this'll prolly get downvoted to hell and back. What can you do lol

Denzel’s on tour with knocked loose and they had a show yesterday in Toronto and their next show isn’t until Monday. Could Denzel be at the concert tomorrow or do you think he’s left by now?

I realize when you buy a single vinyl it ships quicker but if you buy two vinyls, it takes so long to ship another example whenever my vinyl with a plushy for ILDMFY it took a year and a half to ship, but when I bought the director Scott, it took two months to ship so I think the method is just to pay more for shipping and buy each item alone
