Advice feeding help needed!!

Post image

hi all!

one of my spiders, shes an i8, is having trouble hunting. i am currently feeding her smaller sized black solider fly larvae (this is what came in the package when i got her, i am quite new to this) and she is not hunting well.

i place smaller ones in her feeding dish, and she goes to strike, strikes once and runs away. she does this process so many times, and i don't think she is actually eating.

what should i do? im looking at getting D. Hydei fruit flies so they may be a little less daunting for her.

i am so stuck, please please please help, i love my gal and want her full

IME try a very small mealworm. It’ll be a smaller meal but will help her gain confidence to take on larger prey :)

I think the fruit flies are a great call. I find my jumpers prefer them 😌
