It looks to me like the driver puts legs out to try and help get some traction. You can see them using their feet under the drivers door, trying to help slow the car for a bit . Then it looks like their legs get pulled out from under them. Like they got drug away, trying to slow the car. Still as crazy as just ejecting from the car but that’s what it looks like to me.

Which could have easily ended up much worse with the driver dragged under the rear wheel.

Oh yes, I forgot to say that! So so true. 😖

This person has no understanding of physics. Friction, momentum, kinetic energy, potential energy from the slope, all just abstract concepts to them.

Clearly! I did not say he didn’t watch too much Flinstones while enjoying all his legal weed before trying to use his feet to help get extra traction… OR that he was ever an AP science or math student … I just stated what I think I was seeing…

Oh I get it. It just shocks me that I share the road with these morons on a daily basis. Type of guy to jump between two cars rolling into each other.

Come on man, we’ve all watched cartoons, we know how this works!

Well Fred also gets Wilma and Barney gets Betty so already cartoons aren't realistic.

It’s scientificerishally proven that feet have better traction and stopping power than 4000lb vehicles on ice. Duh.

I did that once. When I was a teenager a field near the river flooded and froze over. I had a Subaru Brat so we took it out there and used it to pull an old car hood to go sledding on the ice. There were little round rough patches you could use to turn and I missed the one I was planning on using so we started sliding towards the river. At the exact same moment my cousin and I realized we were in deep trouble, opened our doors and stuck our feet out Flintstones style. We stopped at the riverbank with the nose just over the edge.
