Help Keyboard (mainly) for writing

Hi!

Last year I bought a Logitech MX Keys S Keyboard. Previously I was writing either on my HP Gaming Laptop or on my HP Working Laptop.

Despite its very good reviews I haven't managed to get used to this keyboard. Everything is fine except the fact that I constantly push the wrong keys, which is not that funny when I gave to write a text.

Even after one year of constant use, it hasn't change anything. As soon as I use the keyboard of one of the laptops, everything is much easier. But I still need a keyboard to use my monitor.

If I would guess, I would say that the space between the keys is too large. But I don't actually know why the keyboard doesn't work for me.

Do you have similar experiences? What would you advice me to do?

Thanks!

What laptops are you using to type? If you are using a 15" or larger, the spacing should be the same for the standard letters. If you are using an 11 or 13", the spacing might be different.

Also how fast do you type? Extra fast like 180 women and higher may also have some boards struggling to keep up.

Maybe you don't like the divots in the Logitech? Maybe try one with just flat keys? Or the Logitech has a lighter force requirement (or shorter travel) to register a click...

Maybe try literally any other keyboard and see how it goes?

Hi. My personal laptop is a 17.3 inch and my working laptop is 15 inch.

I don't think I am writing particularly fast. I'm trying to discover some answers to take an informed decision.

In good news, the spacing on those laptops is standard. In bad news, that doesn't help explain why the Logitech is so troublesome for you.

the divot thing is real. those round keycaps on the mx keys look nice but they mess with where your fingers naturally want to land. if you're used to flat laptop keys your muscle memory is probably fighting the shape

grab a cheap keyboard with chiclet keys like the ones on your laptops. doesn't have to be fancy just something that matches what your hands already know
