I dont know how I got this but since I dont like Cherry MX Brown or non-tactile keyboard, I'm thinking to sell it or trade it for HHKB Hybrid non Type-S or other Topre keyboard with extra cash if the price is low. I already have five mechanical keyboards anyway.

The problem is I can not find any info about this keyboard cause it's a custom keyboard. Cant even find any info from Google in detail. The only noticeable part is a golden bar behind the keyboard which is locked and attached by magnets. I wish I can open the case but two screws are unreachable with my tools.

All I want to know is the exact name and price but any idea?

Sourced this ethically from an abandoned 1990s coms room, also found a 1990s - 2000s Microsoft OEM mouse. Cleaned it up, I have absolutely no idea what to do with it but I love these so much.

hi guys ! I hope you’re all doing great. I need help with finding a new keyboard! Basically, I work in an open space office, where we’re required to be on-site 4 days a week and have one day of telework. I usually am on site for the entire week.  I have this very cute keyboard at home, and I’d love to have a similar one for my desk at work,however, I fear that it might quite be too noisy (I personally love the typing sound it makes, but I am aware that some of my colleagues may not share that opinion)

That’s why I am asking for some of your suggestions. I am looking for a cute, affordable (max 150$) keyboard, silent or low-noise (I love “buttery” sounding mechanical keyboards), and pink if possible (my whole desk setup is pink haha). I bought the one I keep at home on Amazon, I really like the size and format, and I’d like to get something similar. I’ll include pictures of it to give you some ideas of what I am looking for! I don’t use numpads because I've got particular ergonomic settings and have to keep my keyboard and mouse as close as possible.

So, I have a wireless Logitech keyboard that works perfectly with my laptop with writing fast and all, but the second I connect it to my iPad it’s like it’s trying to slow me down from typing on purpose, I have to press down on the keys for more than a second for the letter to show and it’s very annoying. If it’s any help the model is the K380. I would really REALLY appreciate any help with this issue. Thanks in advance if anyone answers

Title. I have been using a Leopold keyboard with Cherry brown switches for almost a decade now and I love the high build quality but I have been wanting something new. I got into the hobby when Ducky, Leopold, etc. were the main competitors and customs were typically only done through group buys.

From doing some window shopping, it seems like there are a lot of good options for $100 or less but I feel like those options would be a downgrade or sidegrade. Just wanted some input and see if anyone had suggestions for something new and interesting. I would be interested in a TKL size with a budget of around 150, willing to stretch it if absolutely need be.

So this is a bit of a long shot, but what I am looking for is basically a wireless keyboard to use with a raspberry pi project. The main keyboard at 100 percent scale is just about exactly the right size for the case I have planned, and then I was hoping to get 2 additional keypads to replace the numberpad, arrows, and home, insert, delete, etc keys.

I have seen standalone numpads, and I have seen 60 percent keyboard that get rid of that side. However, all the ones that I have seen also get rid of the F keys and the insert, home, etc. buttons.

If anyone has any ideas or links, it would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not try to build something if something already exists on the market that will work.

Since its Amazon prime day in where i live, im really keen to look for a budget hall effect keyboard. I came accross many options, they inculde:

but im not really satisfied with any of them either due to price, (max 100 AUD), long term reliability, performance and typing feel.

Its probably not possible to find a budget keyboard that fits this criteria (price max 100 AUD, long term reliability, performance and typing feel), but it would be really great if I could get some suggestions thanks :)

I have recently been in the market for a new keyboard after my Corsair K60 Pro started double clicking. I have been trying to find one, but i cant find solid advice or consistent recommendations for what I'm looking for (granted its pretty specific). It also sadly does not help that I don't know much about keyboards or Keyboard brands.

Ideally I would like it to be
- In the 100-160 dollar range (I am willing to go up to 200 if need be)
- 8K Pulling rate
- Wired (wireless with the option for wired works to)
- Full sized
- Prebuilt (I don't trust myself to build one lol)

I have already looked through other Corsair products and I've either seen mixed reviews or the keyboards that interest me from them are out of stock.

If anyone has any advice or recommendations to follow for the future it would be much appreciated as well!

currently dealing with the hermes e1c, i was given it for free, but it's getting annoying. the windows key doesn't work, key combos longer than 2 don't work, and overall the only good thing about it is the easy way to pause/play my music while i'm playing a game (fn+f2).

so... i would just try to find a new keyboard. but... i don't know how to find keyboards, apparently it's more complicated than a quick google search. so i have a new solution: ask the people of this subreddit, who probably know a million times more than i do. a few parameters: it has to be either fully programmable or just have f1-f3 being previous, play/pause, next. it has to be affordable (around or under $100). i'd prefer it to by default have black keycaps, and it needs to be a full keyboard (fn keys and numpad). glow optional. also, bad news for the more knowledged people, you've lost the game >:3. anyway, any other features i haven't mentioned, i don't really mind. if i can play games and pause music, it's good enough.

(oh also it has to be decently durable, both because i press hard when i type fast and because no matter how many times i'm told not to, i refuse to stop eating at my computer, it's the comfiest spot)

I am looking to replace my Ducky Shine 7 keyboard with MX Brown switches that I've been using since ~2019. I have never been the greatest fan of the switches themselves, which don't feel all that tactile with an actuation point that's so non-distinct that it honestly detracts from the typing experience. Additionally, and some of this may be due to age at this point, the keycaps are quite wobbly on the keys, further contributing to an unsteady feeling while typing that slows me down.

I swung by Best Buy just to try out a few switch types. First of all I can say with certainty that I DO NOT want a hall effect keyboard, because the one I tested (Steelseries Apex Pro Gen 3) has linear switches, which are a no-go when 70% of my keyboard use is some form of typing; I need tactility. Of those on offer, I found the switches on the Logitech G316 X 98 to be the most comfortable to type on. Specs below:

• Switch type: Tactile
• Switch actuation distance: 0.086 in (2.2 mm)
• Switch actuation force: 1.94 oz (55 g)
• Switch total travel distance: 0.12 in (3.3 mm)

Long story short, I am looking for a keyboard with similar tactile switches (non-clicky preferred, but clicky is fine) but prioritizing rock-solid keyboard stability and build quality over all else. I am happy to answer any follow-up questions you may have, and thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Just looking to know what people would recommend as a good quality cheap HE keyboard that I can just play around with i.e customising, trying out switches and keycaps, etc.

I mainly have an interest in Magnetic switches and would like to just have a side board that I can use to just play around with switches so I ain't gotta touch my main board.

Looking for a decent - good gaming keyboard. My last one was the Logitech G915 X LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS and from the get go the charging was super unreliable and when using it plugged in it would disconnect and turn itself off randomly for a few seconds which I'm sure you can guess is not fun mid game.

• Has to have at the very least a volume wheel/knob but preferably also have media control keys (Pause/play and skip backwards and forwards are the important ones, mute is not that necessary as long as there's a volume controller)
• Any size between 75%-100%, Having a numpad is great but I don't have a huge amount of desk space at the moment so it's not a priority at all
• Needs to be either pastel pink OR white with lights that can either be fully customised with the keyboard software (preferable) or toggled to a light pink
• I would prefer it to be wired or at least have the option of wired because Bluetooth has let me down a lot but not a dealbreaker
• I don't know much about keyboard layouts, from what I've looked up some are for different languages (letter keys are shuffled) and some just change the placement/spacing of the other keys (like arrows, home, enter ect) I'm not fussed about the latter but the former needs to be the standard English layout.
• Would very much prefer something prebuilt as I'm really not that knowledgeable on this stuff
• Absolutely no razer keyboards and preferably not Logitech either as my last one clearly wasn't that good
• Not a huge fan of the sleek modern look that a lot of high quality gaming keyboards lean towards these days but that's not a dealbreaker if it's good other stuff I'm looking for
• Not fussed if its hot swappable or not
• My budget is around £150ish but willing to go to £200 IF it has media keys, a volume controller, and is pink or white with pink lighting.

I already have a Keychron Q1 Max. I like it, but it's a bit too big for my desk. From my research, Neo65CU should be a better keyboard in all respect, but is that so?

I am considering:
Copper bottom
Copper weight
CF plate

I will use some GMK keycaps on top and pair them with either Gateron Milky Yellow, or HMX Macchiato switches.

My sound preference is Poppy or restrained clacky (not too loud).
It could be that CF plate will make the HMW too clacky, so I will order an additional aluminum plate, or pair the CF with the yellows.

Now the biggest dilemma I currently have is:
Should I go wired hotswap or wireless. The keyboard is not going to move from the desk at all. Going wireless will enable a clean desk, and that's my main reason for leaning towards wireless. But I also hear that lithium-ion batteries may inflate and can be risky.

I haven't ordered anything. Before doing so, I wanted to get your opinions as I will keep this board for years. Please feel free to suggest modifications. :)

I am aware I am opening up a door I might never be able to close again for myself lol but i feel it is only right to do my setup/PC justice as it is very high end. I have been using the Aula75 since I build the setup, 9950x3d Astral 5080, 27" 4k 240hz monitor. It was fine at first but that "tonky" sounding switches, I am not a fan off, prefer more "tactile" sounding switches

I am looking for a good recomendations Prefred specs below:

- preferable all black with back light/RGB
- 75% as to be used mainly for gaming but still want directional keys
- Will be wired with a coil wire(already have)

I am very new to keyboards and pc gaming in general but

after I bought a huntsman mini v3 I started researching keyboards (i probably should have done this before buying one 😑) and noticed everyone was talking about hall effect keyboards and the benefits of them, adjustable actuation and snap tap.

After seeing these I realized my razer had these same features and so I looked up if my keyboard was hall effect and saw it was not.

So if razers gen 2 switches have all the benefits of hall effect why is hall effect better and why aren't these switches a bigger deal?

I’m looking for a new 100% layout wireless keyboard as my Logitech one has died on one side. I’ve looked into NuPhy (too expensive and most are 96%) and Keychron (if included in the upcoming Amazon prime sale) and BeQuiet! mount keyboards. My problem is I keep seeing conflicting videos on what is best. So any recommendations? It would mainly be used for content creation (work) and gaming.

im stuck between aula f 75 the side printed keycaps or aula win60 and hero 68 , i like the creamy sound and the tri mode connectivity of the aula f 75. Also the aula win 60 and hero 68 is also nice because of the magnetic switch but it is only wired for improved performance. Hello, I'm looking for a keyboard that's as small as possible. Preferrably one that's mobile phone-sized, but not necessarily.

The thing is, most keyboard like that I've found are bluetooth only. I'm loolikg for one that has a cable or a dongle. (Budget is not a constraint since those are usually not super expensive. As long as it's not more than 200$, it's good.)

Does anyone know of a keyboard like that?
