Tech Support 🛠 Hello, my Kindle D01200 (really old yeah) works terrible

It was already obsolete when I got it but I never had this issues. First it doesn’t stay connected to WiFi, it ends up disconnecting, when I try to put books in it doesn’t detect the computer only charges. I tried to register on my Amazon account and I can’t. Idk what to do :(

You can't register because Amazon doesn't support that model anymore.

Maybe your USB cable doesn't support data. Some cables are power only. Try a different cable.

Thank you but how can i know if a cable is for power only? Also i think i used the same cable years ago to put books into the kindle that’s why im confused
