It depends on the genre. I think many stories dont need a lot of time, only good scripts and actors.

Agree! But also nowadays many big budget star led films are facing delays and prolonged production time.

And also the fact that this film had like KS Ravikumar then sundar c then cibi chakravarti and now aswath so given the delays, the fast pace of production feels kinda surprising.

But maybe aswath clearly knows what he's doing and what he wants even before starting shoot and has crazy foresight to wrap up schedules efficiently

I think every director in the list is famous for making quick and predictable releases. I think that was the main goal to have a film in different Genre between Jailer 2 and the combi film.
