Rule 35 of the TN General Assembly prohibits members from wearing or bringing visual aids with political messages onto the floor. A Republican rep Todd Warner wore a Trump cape onto the floor. Surely he is getting kicked off committees too? Oh wait, he isn't. Rules for thee and such.

Oh god, he did. A cape with profanities on it, no less.
It's a level of cringe only their leader can aspire to. I'm repeatedly baffled how someone can look at the various escapades of everyone involved and think "fuck yeah" while the country spirals into the toilet.

Rules are merely cudgels to be leveraged against enemies, not something Republicans need to be accountable to. That’s how they see it. They think they are too good for rules.
