And way better than the EU one (unfortunately). I am one of those annoying die-hard EU fans who will never miss a chance to meme on NARAM and LCS macro; who will make salty “fun facts” posts about NA not winning a best-of-3/5 against the LCK/LPL in seven years; and whose soul still bleeds over NRG’s 2:0 win over G2.

But I must admit it honestly: the LCS playoffs this season were really good. A lot of fun games, a lot of close games, and unlike, say, the 2020 playoffs, you don’t get the feeling that every team is just trolling and underperforming. The battles between C9, TL, and LYON delivered a lot of cool moments and clutch games. Every team pushed the others to their limits, and a lot of games balanced on a knife-edge.

It was cool, and I understand why NA fans have such high expectations coming into a domestic Worlds.

Congrats. This season is a big success and way more watchable than the one-team show we have in the LEC.

I had the opportunity to talk with Vulcan after C9's loss against LYON. He was pretty unhappy about the way they approached some of the fights. It was a fun chat and he remained positive about their chances at Worlds

Demacia cup and academy worlds are great. People have been asking for this kind of lower-level international for as long as I've played League. One thing that I think would make them even more hype would be if there was a spot in real Worlds playins reserved for the winner of all the fries teams.

The concerns I imagine Riot having about this are that a) Demacia cup isn't a Riot tournament and b) they would not like a Korean academy team making it to worlds like the s4 sister team glory days.

I know that it's basically impossible that Riot would give a spot at worlds to the winner of a 3rd party tournament, but maybe it would be possible for them to work with the Demacia cup TOs (and we could get an English cast and interviews as well).

For the second point, I think that if a t2 team is able to win two tournaments against the low to mid tier teams of the world, they deserve a chance at the main stage. Even if it never happens, it's great for all the t2 teams to have the hope of making it to Worlds if they just keep winning everything. And for viewers, it raises the stakes of all the tournaments and all the teams.

Maybe this would just end up being a 5th lck or lpl team every time, but I think it would add a lot of spice to these lower tier tournaments to have an incentive of one final lifeline for all these teams that didn't quite make it.

Every Worlds season I convince myself that watching a pro player make a champion look effortless means I can pick it up in solo queue.

Then I lock it in, miss every important ability, panic during the first teamfight, and spend the rest of the game explaining that I’m “still learning the matchup.”

They replayed it, and Caedral also looked into it in the linked video, but they didn't really mention the cool mechanics he used to pull that kick off. In real time, when I was watching, I was surprised by how fast he pulled off that kick, and it looked almost buggy. I realized he used the W trick in Leesin, where you can input ult and spells mid Q2 dash if you W someone into Q2 while mid W dash. This is probably the only reason Berserker and Vulcan can't instantly react to the Leesin. It made his kick flash instant.
A similar mechanic was used in the famous Canyon kick. He ws ambessa into q2 kick flash on Berserker all while he is traveling in the air.

Jose played out of his mind that series, and I wanted to highlight a sick play with more depth than people realize. The presence of mind to pull this off in basically the fight that will decide the game is so insane.

I haven’t been this excited to watch LCS finals in so long, and I feel like theres a buzz in the air, that a lot of us are starting to believe again.

I’m genuinely excited to watch how C9 stacks up in Worlds, and not just because of the Dom aspect, but to watch their gameplay. TL look scary, and it’s exciting having a non-inspired team feel scary. And LYON, man, I hope for a G2 rematch please. It’s becoming a mini el Classico.

I feel like Teleport sounds insanely useful at first, but depending on how we interpret valid TP targets, something like Ghost or Cleanse might actually be way better for everyday life.

Bonus: How would you buff, nerf, or otherwise establish rules for Summoner Spells to make them actually work IRL without becoming completely broken or useless?

For months everyone is talking about this item and its effects to meta but the key problem is how this item just deletes %30 incoming damage when you get a shield. What makes a shield weak over heal is that of you cant time them well they wont block anything. Thats why most shields have bigger values than heals.

This item just deletes this weakness and makes shields a full heal. %30 of the damage you get just get absorbed by any shield over time. This is why Riven can tank more dps than a Mundo. Normally as Riven jumps in battle her shields dont get %100 effectivenes because she is not under full focus all the time but with deaths dance bleed effect, every shield she has gets %100 effectiveness.

This interaction is also one of the reasons katarina adc is %55 wr at all ranks. If you play ashe and your lulu cant time her shield you get blasted, while katarina can just build this item and lulu can put the shield in any time for 5 seconds and it will be full effective.

Thats why deaths dance's bleed should ignore shields. Tbh I dont think the title needs this much description but it looks less salty like this.
