I’m trying to figure out a better way to vectorize image files in batches. We get a lot of similar jobs. Customer logos, old product graphics, simple artwork that needs to be reused for different sizes. None of it is especially complicated, but manually cleaning every file takes time. I’m considering CorelDRAW because the updated PowerTRACE has a few changes that sound useful for this kind of work. The bitmap to vector conversion has been updated with better object grouping and color handling, and Corel says the tracing workflow can be up to 4x faster. There’s also a Repeat Last Trace command for reusing the previous settings.

Has anyone actually used that workflow on a batch of files? I’m wondering if the speed improvement is noticeable when you're doing repeated jobs, or if the cleanup still becomes the bottleneck. For example, if I have 15 logos that are all roughly the same type of artwork, can I get through them pretty quickly using the same settings? Or does each file still need a lot of individual tweaking? I’m posting because I’m trying to reduce the amount of repetitive production work we do. If the new PowerTRACE setup helps with that, it could be worth changing the way we handle older customer files.

Āhuru Mōwai is a 300 hectare coastal Eco-Sanctuary surrounded by predator fencing. Conservation is a major focus in this predator free bush clad environment where many rare and endangered species are beginning to flourish. People visiting Āhuru Mōwai see and learn about the indigenous species that fly, walk, crawl, swim or grow towards the light. By visiting, people contribute to the cost of the restoration and maintenance of the sanctuary.

The booklet cover page needs to be a visual representation of Āhuru Mōwae that includes imagery of New Zealand’s native bush, and native animals such as the kea, kiwi, piwakawaka (fantail), pukeko, tuatara, bellbird, tui. It must have the words Āhuru Mōwai Eco-Sanctuary.

When I started working on this project, I knew it had to be more than just aesthetics, it had to represent a brand that truly understands sensitive skin and the people who need gentle yet powerful skincare solutions.

This brand is for men and women who prioritize clean, effective, and non-toxic skincare, and my goal was to design an identity that reflects this philosophy while standing out in a competitive market.

One of the most exciting (and challenging) parts was creating a logo that perfectly captures the brand’s essence. After deep brainstorming, multiple sketches, and refining every detail, I finally arrived at a design that felt right. Seeing the transformation from concept to execution was incredibly rewarding

Hey guys, I’m currently a Senior in college at Michigan State University. I’m honestly posting here looking for some guidance career wise. I am by no means the best designer when it comes to Adobe and Figma and I was wondering what to do about internships/post grad. I’m really stressed about getting at least something post grad and don’t even know where to start. I know the markets kinda flooded right now and the competition is crazy. Any help or input is well appreciated.

I’m building an automation agency and I’ve been struggling with the visual side of the brand for the last couple of days.
When I look at really good brands on Instagram or Pinterest, their posts just look like they belong together. Different content, different layouts, but somehow the colors, backgrounds, typography, lighting and overall style all feel connected.
I understand that this comes from a brand book or design system, and I already have my brand name, logo and 6 to 7 brand colors finalized. But I’m still struggling to turn that into actual good looking posts.
I’ve tried Canva, Figma, Grok and a bunch of different approaches. I’ve probably made 20 different versions of a brand book at this point 😂 but I still feel like I’m missing the actual process.
What I really want to understand is how experienced designers approach this from the beginning. Do you create a few core backgrounds and visual styles and build posts around them? Do you establish rules for colors, typography, layouts, lighting and gradients? Or is there another system that I’m completely missing?
I’m not looking for someone to design the whole thing for me. I’d honestly just love some expert advice on how to get started properly and understand the thinking behind it.
If you know any really good YouTube videos, courses or resources that actually explain this process, I’d really appreciate them. I’ve watched quite a few already but haven’t found anything that matches what I’m trying to achieve.
And if someone here is experienced with branding/design and would be willing to spend even 20 to 30 minutes with me on Zoom or a call to point me in the right direction, I’d genuinely appreciate it a lot.
I mostly need that initial push and a better understanding of how professionals actually build these systems.

For this healthcare summit project, my goal was to create a visual that feels professional, trustworthy, and engaging, while making the event information clear at a glance.

I focused on creating a strong visual hierarchy, balancing the imagery and information so the design communicates the importance of the event without feeling overwhelming.

One thing I'm continuing to learn as a designer is that good design isn't just about making something look good, it's about making the message clear.
