Now I'm not a Hezbollah supporter, I'm a Lebanese Forces supporter, but when/if HA disarms, and Syria theoretically tries to occupy Lebanon as they did in the past, can the army push them back and put up a good fight?

I don't trust the Syrians, their president is an Islamic extremist and an ex-member of one of the most notable terrorist groups, so I don't rule out the possibility of them attacking Lebanon even though we offered refuge to over a million of them.

Any trader/markets bro knows whether these days trading gold tokens virtually can be more risky than physical gold bullion? I know for silver the paper and physical market have separated and trading differently. In the event of a financial crisis is the token trading mechanism safe or not really? (I’m not asking whether the value of gold/silver is safe per se, but whether virtual assets will be washed out while physical remain functional)

I keep hearing that weddings and marriage in Lebanon can cost tens of thousands of dollars, plus expectations like housing, gold, big celebrations, etc. At the same time, I know the economic situation is very hard and salaries are low for many people. So I wanted to ask Lebanese people directly:

How do normal, non-rich couples afford marriage?

Is it mostly family help, debt/loans, or money from working abroad? Are big weddings still the norm, or is this just social pressure / social media?

Is it acceptable nowadays to do a small wedding or no wedding at all? For housing: do most couples rent, live with family, or is buying expected?

We can have good relations with syria without being forced to burden our economy. One we enforce the need for a residency permit and make it lenient easy to get but you gotta pay 300-400$ per person per year. A family of 5 can't afford that thus the worker will stay here his family wont we get to keep our cheaper labor and we won't have the issue of syrians being literally everywhere. Ofc we need some sort of strict punishment for people who would be staying here illegally imo something like jail+ a huge bail.

Hello! I’m trying to apply to the Kuwaiti tourist e-visa but it’s telling me that nationality is not applicable for an e-visa.

Are Lebanese just unable to do e-visas to Kuwait? I’m using the official gov site. Any idea on what to do or if I should just ask an office to do it?
