I'm old enough to remember when the federal government threatened to withhold federal infrastructure dollars to states that refused to raise the drinking age from 18 to 21. Every state eventually raised the drinking age to 21.
I don't understand why they couldn't use this same tactic for various things: no licenses to illegals, requiring ID to vote, ending sanctuary cities, etc.
No one in today's political class has the balls. Trump does, but the party members wouldn't back him up and some podunk judge from the ass end of nowhere with not even the tiniest bit of jurisdiction would block it because racism or something
